Football Away Game Ticket Prices

Post by Bigd23 » May 28th, 2022, 9:47 am

I find it interesting that away game tickets for the Alabama game are $50 each while the BYU game tickets are $80 each. I'm planning on attending both games but I will feel much better in paying the price for the Alabama tickets than the BYU ones.

I wonder if alabama is playing a rival if ticket prices are different

I would watch for better tickets/prices on Stubhub for the BYU game. I already got tickets for that game with better seats than the USU ticket office will give you and got them at a much lower price (I paid less than $50 per ticket including all fees). Right now, there aren’t any good options, but just check frequently and act fast when a good option shows up.

I'm really not sure if I want to attend that game.

There's the typical fun if you win, sad if you lose, but I'm worried it will be emotionally increased as this is the last game in at least a while

I feel the same way as USU is 1-0 in games I've attended in Provo but given that the series may not be played for quite some time I've decided to risk tainting that experience to go and support the Aggies. Hopefully many other Aggie fans will go as well to cheer them on.

I'll never attend another game in Provo. Not worth it.

I become someone I don't want to be when I go to games at BYU. So I choose to not go through that transition!

I'm thinking about Provo this year. The last one in the foreseeable future I think it could be fun.

This post is likely straight up poor sarcasm and cannot be taken seriously.

I’m definitely going to Provo. We need to get them this year. As long as we don’t wear black we’ll be fine.

There are tickets in section 131 listed for $49 each on stubhub to the BYU game. I already have tickets, but these seem like a better option than the visitor’s section, so I thought I would post it.

I've bought tickets to the Alabama and BYU games through the USU Ticket Office and I'm considering buying tickets to the Boise State game as well. Want to see the atmosphere at Alabama, what could be the last game in a while against YBU, and what could be the last de facto division championship game against Boise.

I found in another thread that the USU ticket office will provide tickets to the Alabama game in either sections LL, MM, or NN. Has anyone heard which one it is or are we really going to sell enough tickets that we will be spread across 3 different sections? And do we know if it's upper or lower LL, MM, or NN?

Based on past experience at similar venues I'd wager that it's definitely the lower bowl sections.

When I purchased tickets I was told lower MM or NN. I was also told I may not get my seat assignments and tickets until one week before the game but USU website says three weeks.

I'm really excited to go down. We're going to Atlanta, Birmingham, and Tuscaloosa and sports schedules aligned nicely. We're doing other things down there but Atlanta Braves have an Aug. 31 home game, UAB football has a Sept. 1 home game, Friday night Sept. 2 there's high school football, and Saturday Sept. 3 the USU/Alabama game.

Originally our plan was mainly to fly in for just the USU/Alabama game but after researching attractions in the Atlanta and Alabama areas you can make a great family trip out of it.

I still need to get both the tickets to the BYU game and tickets for Alabama. Then somehow persuade my spouse that we need tickets to the Boise game too!

I've bought Alabama and BYU away tickets but Boise wasn't available at the time. Tough timing for that game given the driving distance but that game could be a de facto division championship.

Agree with you Mr. Sneelock. I've simplified my life by committing to never attend another game in Utah county. It's tough enough watching the hordes of sports illiterates boo call against their chosen eleven, especially those very obvious "O" line holding calls.

Boise State single game tickets went on sale today. I went with section 108 for less than the sitting in the visitors section. Also Boise has the worst visitors section in the conference, but I guess that’s what happens when you take a Junior College football field and turn it into a stadium piecemeal.
