The Aggies have lost each of the first-game bowls that they have played. Grape Bowl in 1947, Gotham Bowl in 1961, and Humanitarian Bowl in 1997. We need a soothsayer! Trout?

Sounds to me like we are just long over due for an inagural bowl W. The fruit is ripe for the picking.

If my memory is correct, the inaugural Las Vegas Bowl gave us our first ever bowl win. Maybe we can repeat that feat.

Yes the Las Vegas bowl in1993 was our first bowl win but not the first game for the bowl. The first game in Las Vegas was the year before - Bowling Green beat Nevada.. The LV bowl's father was the California Bowl and its grandfather was the Raisin Bow both played in Fresno. The Aggies lost the Raisin Bowl in 1946.

Thanks for the clarification! This year's team has certainly set precedents. They're in line to set this new one as well.

I think the Aggies will be fine as long as they are not wearing black uniforms.

I was thinking this too BUT remember it was the Las Vegas Bowl II, thus we played in the inaugural Las Vegas Bowl II, not the same as the Las Vegas Bowl I. Or something something logic. Also, to my knowledge Trout wasn't at any of those bowl games, but he WILL be at the game on Saturday, he's our good luck charm for this game. Thus sayeth I.
