Re: LA Bowl All Aggie Tailgate Party
Is there a pep rally or such an event on Friday night? Maybe at the hotel?
We have nothing to do that night and it seems like there has been such an activity for Potato Bowl games.

Re: LA Bowl All Aggie Tailgate Party
Thanks for reaching out! Unfortunately, we don't have anything for that game. As of right now the basketball game at Boise State (Feb. 19) is the only regular-season pregame event we have in the works.AGinNEIowa wrote: ↑December 12th, 2021, 8:15 pm

We do want to work on a midwest Aggie chapter, so if anyone is interested in being involved please email us at alumni@usu.edu. Hopefully, we can get more Aggies engaged in the area so we can do more when the Aggies are in town!
Thanks again!

Hey Kim since we have you as an active member on here. It was recently suggested that many of us who don’t live near Logan would still love to be involved in the coaches luncheons. Of course assuming there would still be some type of fee associated. Seems like a win for the AD as it engages more folks. Just a thought so you can use your influence in the AD.
Re: LA Bowl All Aggie Tailgate Party
I'll definitely bring it up! One outcome from the pandemic is our ability to host virtual/hybrid events to engage a wider audience. I'll follow up!slcagg wrote: ↑December 12th, 2021, 10:01 pmI’m interested.KimLarson wrote: ↑December 12th, 2021, 9:49 pmThanks for reaching out! Unfortunately, we don't have anything for that game. I'll be there with my wife and two boys (my daughter no likey football). Big tall dude with what my daughter would describe as a "military" haircut. If'n y'all see me come say hola. We'll also be tossing the Football around (if possible) in the parking lot before the TG, I'll be there with another Aggie who posts here often, we're parking in the "Orange" lotsam tingey wrote: ↑December 14th, 2021, 12:47 pmwe're going +4. can't wait to meet the imitable ViAggie!

I'm trying to convince my wife that we should go to the tailgate instead of dinner somewhere else before the game. For those that have gone to these events in the past, is the food decent? My wife doesn't really want to spend $30/plate for subpar food.

Re: LA Bowl All Aggie Tailgate Party
Uhm.... you might be disappointed if you want the food to be good. I do it because it's a chance to hang out with old friends and meet new people. If that's why you are doing it, then you'll be good. If you want "good food" I'll tell you now what we had at the SDSU game tailgate:andytheaggie wrote: ↑December 16th, 2021, 12:45 pmI'm trying to convince my wife that we should go to the tailgate instead of dinner somewhere else before the game. Pasta dish
Chicken Fingers (that they initially ran out of by time I got up there, but replenished later)
Hot Dogs
Was there veggies?
Was there a dessert?
When I told my wife I bought us tickets to the LA Bowl TG party she said "oh great hot dogs again?" So not sure what this one will have, but I'm guessing probably something similar. In years passed I remember some decent food at some of these events, but again, it's not the main reason for going.
