Re: Lost a big commitment
The only p5 offer I’ve seen this fall is Arizona.
I am curious with the leilua commit if was pushed to a gray shirt or something and he decided to decommit. Just speculation

Re: Lost a big commitment
Jacob is a mission kid. It didn't matter. This has everything to do with the allure of a bad P5 team.

At this point I would debate which is a better landing spot since Arizona is such a dumpster fire.

We are better now and in two years when he comes back from his mission, we'll be even better and a bunch of his high school buddies will be starters here.FromLItoLogan wrote: ↑November 23rd, 2021, 10:09 amAt this point I would debate which is a better landing spot since Arizona is such a dumpster fire.

Re: Lost a big commitment
Yeah....
In the Spring/Summer I was really wondering how many we could hang on to.
Now my mindset has shifted in that we have a better product to sell to recruits than we did 9 months ago. Each kid that leaves opens up a new opportunity that may be better than what we had.

Re: Lost a big commitment
A lot can change if he's a mission kid. He may feel "called" to go walk on BYU, or may decide he wants to play closer to home. It will be interesting to see where he ends up.

By “called”, you must mean $$$.Aggiefan160 wrote: ↑November 23rd, 2021, 10:36 amA lot can change if he's a mission kid. He may feel "called" to go walk on BYU, or may decide he wants to play closer to home. It will be interesting to see where he ends up.
That’s also how I can see Arizona drawing him in.

Re: Lost a big commitment
Jacob's OL teammate came out of nowhere to get offers from all over the nation. Wonder if they are going to get a package deal.
