I'm sure envious of you guys who can worry about things more important than how many tickets have been sold, but it's something that bugs me, I can't help it.

As of this morning there were 1,985 tickets remaining (plus whatever Boise gives back/gave back). I'd predict we come just short of a sell out, but am hopeful that we can get there. Does Coach have a sellout provision in his contract? If so, he might end up just buying out the remaining tickets if it gets close.
I did a count at 6 p.m., about 36 hours after rAggie's count. We're now down to 1,674 available tickets. We're averaging 8 tickets sold per hour. At this rate, we'll have ~1,100 tickets remaining at kickoff, assuming no walk-up ticket purchases on gameday. Hopefully, the game gets a bit more buzz between now and then, some Aggies on the fence get paid on Friday and buy tickets, and we sell the place out.

While ticket sales need to speed up if we want to sell the place out, we're already closer to capacity (23,426 of 25,100) than our 2019 (18,315), 2017 (19,012), and 2015 (22,509) Boise State vs. Utah State attendance totals.

I’d love to buy a couple tickets for some Aggies that want to go. Please DM/PM me if you could use some.

An anonymous donor bought $15,000 worth of tickets and is donating them to students and their families in the Logan School district. The vouchers can be picked up tomorrow.

This game will be at capacity! Excited to see this team in person again!

Someone posted something about the Boise game being a pink out, is this a real thing?

It was going to be a pink out but something changed. The HURD had said it was a pink out but they've said now that it's changed to wear Navy.

Thank goodness we aren't attempting a pink out for our first home game ever on CBS. Smart shift out of that by someone in the AD.

I count about 1400 left.

About 350 left in the south end zone, about 350 left on the west side and about 700 left on the east side.

Scott Garrard just reported an anonymous donor purchased most and will donate to elementary schools.

I have no information as to who the donor is but if it were Blake Anderson himself I would not be surprised.

I have no life. Here's the latest as of noon today. This doesn't include GA seats of which there are a lot remaining (can't tell how many of those). I set the average price of the south and east seats at $30 a ticket since youth are $23 and adults are $45.

This is awesome. You should crowd-source this sh*t. Throw it up on Google docs and invite people to update it and add a date and time to their section updates.

That could be fun, I don't think I'll get around to doing that today, but what I would be interested in discussing is the economics of our ticket prices. If we end up selling out then it is all moot but I can't help but think having the same price for sections 111 and 112 (where there is a combined 334 seats unsold) as sections 110 and 113 (where 32 are unsold) is the best plan. Looking at the later season lower demand games, I'd love to see those south endzone seats go for $10-20 or try something similar to stoke demand.

I know our ticket prices are already among the lowest in the country, but we make nothing off an empty seat and I think we often ignore the future value of what could be generated by someone who gets a cheap seat today.

Great points. Airlines use AI to adjust pricing to the highest point that the market will bear without overpricing seats and flying empty seats from terminal to terminal: https://www.cnbc.com/2018/08/03/how-do- ... ckets.html That could very well look like $10 per seat in some areas. Seems like a win to me: Utah State makes more money, our home environment would be consistently better and play a more impactful role in games' outcomes.

Seems like our ticket prices error on the side of too expensive leaving seats empty. Conversely, we left a lot of money on the table for the Utah State vs. BYU game where the cheapest tickets on Vividseats are now going for $184 per seat and many in the $300-500 range.

What is a typical amount of tickets sold to game day walk ups?

Not to mention the positive impact a full house has on fans attending the game. If it is a crazy full atmosphere, the fans will likely have a more positive experience and want to return. Plus, regardless of what one pays for a ticket, if a game is sold our or close to it, you create scarcity which drives up prices.

This is a huge opportunity to gain momentum with fan excitement for this team. The game will be pretty much full. If the Aggies can come out, play well and get the victory this would build a lot excitement around this team/program. To be honest in the last 6 or so years i would say this might be the biggest home game we have seen. I think the last one that was bigger was the BYU game a few years back when we were like 4-1 and Chuckie was playing well and then got inured in the BYU game.

I don't know if this means anything, but there is no hotel vacancy in the entire valley this weekend. My wife and I tried to book something for this weekend last week, and it's sold out. I take it back, there is a room at the La Quinta for $450.00.

Here's your answer. We have achieved sell-out! Hope the kiddiewinks enjoy the experience. (Which has the salutory effect of a parent needing to come and bring them!!)

I appreciate the snapshot but that does not say it’s a sell out, getting closer though. Really cool story about the donor.

Since we are geeking out on this now...

Tickets are moving much faster in the south endzone than anywhere else right now. I don't know if that's because that's where the vouchers were for or what (I'd have thought the vouchers might be GA, maybe someone can clarify for us.)

The west side seats are moving like molasses at this point. For comparison, from noon to 10 p.m. Thursday we sold 34 seats on the west side, but sold 151 in the south end zone and 164 on the upper east side (not counting GA). This goes with a reasonable hypothesis that people who are committed to the game and want a "great seat" are going to pay the price early and late deciders will be looking for more of a value-priced ticket and it's the $23-45 tickets that are flying.

We're at about 1,290 remaining, I think if the number can drop below 800 on Friday we should sell out with walkup business.

I think it would be a lot of fun to model ticket prices and come up with innovative ways to maximize demand .

The ticket sales rate has doubled! We're down to 1,294 left. We moved from about 8 tickets per hour from Monday through Wednesday to about 16 tickets per hour from yesterday to today.

Vouchers are valid for south end zone, upper east, and general admission (so anything but west side). I have some season tickets, but this offer made it so the rest of my family will be going to this game.

How does one get a hold of these vouchers? I'm a die hard aggie basketball fan (showed up on the front row for the last few years). I've been on the fence about this Bosie game (I'm no longer a student) because I'm just not as into football as I am basketball. If I had free tickets I bet I could talk one of my brothers into going with me. (I cheer loud)

You had to get them from the office of your kids school. They went very quickly at our school. Not sure about the other schools though. I was lucky enough to get 4 to take my kids along with my season ticket.

What happens if someone picks up vouchers but doesn't use them? Will they continue to sell to the public while they are waiting for the vouchers to come in? Can the game sell out before all the vouchers are used?

My work had tickets for the game and ended up with 1 extra that I can give away. PM me if you're interested!
