Pressure is on Boise State, big time.

Reasons for why the pressure is on Boise State to win on Saturday and not Utah State.
1. It's a home game for the Aggies.
2. The Aggies already have a conference win.
3. The Broncos are coming off an L and are 1-2.
4. They have an unproven new coach with high expectations on his shoulders.
5. They still have to play at Fresno State (Probable conference loss) and at SDSU. (Side note they also still have to play at BYU.)
6. They don't have a solid running game yet.
7. They don't know how to deal with Justin Rice.
8. Utah State will play better on special teams.
9. It's a nationally televised game when they are not having their typical Bozo State year when they schedule cupcakes in OOC.
10. It's not your typical trickeration, Chris Peterson-led team.

They will be desperate which scares me the most. If they lose they may struggle to get bowl eligible by playing BYu, SDSU, Fresno and I believe Nevada.

I was saying all week I wasn't convinced we could pull out a win against AFA and Boise is always a bigger test. I think our luck runs out, especially with how desperate they'll be.

Can't wait to be proven wrong....again

On the flip side of that, if Aggies come out swinging and hit Boise in the mouth, maybe we’ll smell blood in the water and bury them. Broncos don’t have a great run game and they’ve been surrendering over 200+ yards on the ground per game.

The next two weeks are gravy to me. I am expecting to lose both games, and expecting to still be really happy about the season no matter what happens rolling into the bye week and soft underbelly of our schedule with a winning record.

No pressure on us at all because we are so far ahead of schedule. Just go out and have fun.

For sure, but we don’t need to win the MW to have an overwhelmingly successful season. Just play loose and see what happens.
