Boise State
Does Boise State have a good defense or will the Aggie offense score pretty easily on them?

They always have a solid defense. Not sure how our offense will fare against them, but the Aggies offense is really humming.

I'm hoping we're seeing the end of the dynasty in Boise. I would love to see a string of 4 or 5 win seasons in the next 10 years.

Really feel like we need to throw out the history for the game this week. Avalos might not be good and Blake might be God.

Boise is angry, and we are next in line. I think it is not going to be a good game for us.

Re: Boise State
Boise should have beat osu. Jaylen Warren fumbled with about 2 mins left and boise returned it for a td. However the refs blew it dead and initially ruled Warren was down. Review was made and determined the refs were wrong. If I were a boise fan I’d be disappointed.

Re: Boise State
Boise D gave up 246 yards rushing but only 21 points. I didn't watch any of it, but that seems an odd mix -bend but not break?
looks like they only allowed 143 2nd half yards
OS doesn't look to be world beaters, 23 points against So Mizzu and 28 against Tulsa

I think we have a chance in this game as well. One def hasn’t looked great in their other games. I thought Boise could win this game and they def had a chance. I think Boise scored all of their points in the first quarter.

Re: Boise State
ya, I just noticed that the QB was 6-13 with 2 sacks, that's only 15 pass plays?? Then again the QB had 18 rushes -how many of those were pass plays he scrambled out of?slcagg wrote: ↑September 19th, 2021, 7:06 amOsu did not pass much for some reason.AGinNEIowa wrote: ↑September 19th, 2021, 7:04 amBoise D gave up 246 yards rushing but only 21 points. I think they are thin at WR. When they caught a 3rd down pass to ice it announcers saying he was their 7th string WRslcagg wrote: ↑September 19th, 2021, 7:06 amOsu did not pass much for some reason.AGinNEIowa wrote: ↑September 19th, 2021, 7:04 amBoise D gave up 246 yards rushing but only 21 points. I want to see us win for various reasons Saturday, but wouldn't it be great to send Boise to 1-3 to start the season and watch their fans melt down? When was the last time they were 1-3?

Re: Boise State
Even if we lose the next two games, we stand a good chance of wining the majority of our remaining games. UNM, NMS, CSU and UNLV are not very good. That leaves us Hawaii, SJSU and Wyoming to split at worst. Who would have thought, at the start of the season, that the Aggies would be a contender for a bowl game this year?

Re: Boise State
That bodes well. That's been the biggest reason BSU has dominated us over the years. I still don't think we have the juice to win this game, but it would surprise me if it's a bloodbath like last year.

Isn’t it about time that not every call goes the way of Boise and the ball bounces not in their favor. I mean they are well beyond due for some rough patches and bad karma and I’m not just talking about a game or two I’m talking about entire seasons.
