Shoutout to Connor Coles

Post by cdaAg » September 5th, 2021, 11:07 am

While the offense worked through some development over the course of the evening, Coles did a great job of being steady throughout the game. His reliability kept us within reach. Great game for a kid who waited in the wings during Eberle's awesomeness. Way to go!

Great post. He kept us in the game and ultimately his kicks ended up being the difference.

Just wish his leg was a little stronger. He has trouble getting it into the end zone.

He’s not the KO guy. I believe Nimrod is our KO kicker.

Correct. Elliott Nimrod, last year's kicker at Arkansas State, handled the KO's.

Our kickoff guy is a Nimrod?!

I love it.

Okay, I'm all on board with Coles then. Nimrod needs a stronger leg.

Seems we are all confused who kicks when.

Kicking at home in elevation will help with that.

Coles had an awesome game. His field goals were spot on. Nice to have a reliable kicker.

That always has been and always will be the story. It being easier to kick the ball out of the endzone at home games as well as the road games at altitude, but being harder in the road games at sea level.
