Shoutout to Connor Coles
While the offense worked through some development over the course of the evening, Coles did a great job of being steady throughout the game. His reliability kept us within reach. Great game for a kid who waited in the wings during Eberle's awesomeness. Way to go!

Re: Shoutout to Connor Coles
Great post. He kept us in the game and ultimately his kicks ended up being the difference.

Re: Shoutout to Connor Coles
Correct. Elliott Nimrod, last year's kicker at Arkansas State, handled the KO's.

Kicking at home in elevation will help with that.GUS wrote:Just wish his leg was a little stronger. He has trouble getting it into the end zone.

Coles had an awesome game. His field goals were spot on. Nice to have a reliable kicker.

That always has been and always will be the story. It being easier to kick the ball out of the endzone at home games as well as the road games at altitude, but being harder in the road games at sea level.CaptainChaos wrote: ↑September 6th, 2021, 9:45 pmKicking at home in elevation will help with that.GUS wrote:Just wish his leg was a little stronger.
