Nothing but a bit of Bulletin Board material to fuel the troops. We have way too much talent to be considered Ugly on this same list at the end of the season. Looking forward to showing that 2020 was an outlier and we are again division contenders.

certainly based on last year's performance this is an accurate representation, but I do believe we have added talent to be competitive in the league. Certainly not proclaiming we win the conference, but I believe we can get to 6 wins (ND, NMSU, UNLV, NM, WYO and CSU).

Agreed. We had more on-field talent last year than 3 wins. We just had a major loser mindset. This year, with an influx of on-field talent, a coaching staff that wants to do their jobs, and a positive mindset, we'll be much better.

The article was so light on factual information, my ceiling fan blew it off the screen.

I’m fine with where people are placing the Aggies. The program last season looked like Hot Rod’s pool jump.

We are an unknown quantity this year. We obtained a lot of good pieces but that doesn’t mean we will be a good team (see UNLV basketball over the last decade). They need to earn the respect of the media.

Presumptuous and ill-informed.

Insightful Dwigt, insightful. To earn our place in the sun is spot on.

Is this team more like the 1 win team of last year or the 7 win team from 2019? Sure we had Love, but he had an "off" season and we still won 7.

It would make sense if he said last season and the coaching departure was ugly, but since the change it has been anything but.

Anderson is a great fit at a great time for Utah State. He has the energy and approach that was required to recover from the graveyard spiral that our program seemed to find itself in last season. BTW, read about graveyard spiral and tell me that doesn't describe our 2020 season to a T ( (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graveyard_spiral) ).

I think Avalos will be a good coach at Boise, and may have been a candidate for the USU gig, but I'm glad Hartwell got the right fit for our program at the needed time instead. I don't think Avalos or Jay Hill (who was my choice) would have been able to turn the momentum around as quickly as Anderson seems to be doing.

It's a really good place to be. Low expectations from the media and most if not all outsiders. Sorry AI, the wounds from last season are still to deep for me to go back into the graveyard. I'm trying to convince myself it didn't happen. An aberration. Just a bad dream.

According to the article, we got kicked out of the conference somehow:

"Air Force

The falcons is another team with a manageable OOC schedule. They should have a chance at a fast start against Lafayette, Navy, Utah State, and Florida Atlantic..."

Just treat the two sentences as separate statements and it makes more sense.
