NFL draft: USU & MWC
NFL draft: USU & MWC
So, am I correct in understanding that no Aggie football players have signed free agent contracts? When is the last time that no one from USU was drafted or was picked up as a free agent?
Also, I saw that only three MWC players were drafted, including two from BSU and one from SDSU. The long-term average for the conference is about nine. The Missouri Valley had more drafted this year than the Mountain West.

Most of our seniors from the 2020 season either transferred, gave up football or returned to Utah State for the 2021 season. There weren't many options from Utah State for the NFL guys to choose from.

YBU got lucky with a lot of visibility from Zach Wilson and playing a garbage schedule. Next year I could see them going 0fer again with us getting a few in there: https://www.usufans.com/Forums/viewtopi ... =4&t=57770

Meh. Scouts looked at Wilson and liked him. Many people got drafted after sitting out the year. Scouts take SoS into consideration. Not as many trashed that ndsu guy and he played a lesser schedule when he played (I think he say out this year and/or had a very limited spring schedule)OrangeCountyAggie wrote: ↑May 2nd, 2021, 12:40 amYBU got lucky with a lot of visibility from Zach Wilson and playing a garbage schedule. I think Milne is going to be decent too- in the few games I saw of BYU’s (like coastal Carolina) he gave me nightmare flashbacks of Austin Collie. I’m good with my Skins picking him.
