N'Kosi Perry, a Miami QB, is transferring.

He's really good. He'll likely transfer to a high major or UCF, but a guy can dream, right?

He follows our coaches Banda, Zuckerman, & Devine on Twitter and knows Patrick Joyner, who just transferred here from Miami.

I wonder where Shelley will land? He deserves a better shot than what he got at USU. GA takes the blame IMHO, not the players.

Really, Shelley is not a D1 QB in my opinion.

Go back and listen to or read every interview Gary gave last year leading up to the 2020 season. He didn't want there to be a season and wasn't planning on there being a season. He thought he was going to have roughly 15 months to turn Jason Shelley into a QB.

A very strange plan given that he already had a talented, well-liked and respected QB on the roster.

He's been in the portal since November. 140 teams have had a look. 140 have taken a pass. Unless someone's looking for a fourth-year backup safety, he's done.

I agree 100% with this. Gary never wanted to play the season, and the results showed exactly that.

Considering he started at safety at Utah, he has the physical ability to start at safety at a good share of FBS schools. The problem is his willingness to accept the fact that he's NOT a quarterback and work towards being a good safety.

I'm somewhat surprised that Utah didn't take him back into their fold. But that should tell you all you need to know.

But I'm not surprised no one else wanted him - even at safety. The way he quit on the team and threw them under the bus, the risk of a locker room cancer far outweighs the prospect of a serviceable safety or WR.

One thing that's funny is I guy I work with thinks Jason Shelley is good. First, after the announcement he was coming here but before the announcement of Colombi leaving, he told me he was going to beat out Colombi for the starting job, if Colombi stayed. Then, he kept telling me each week that Shelley was going to turn it around. And would tell me it was the other guys fault and not Shelley's fault, how Jordan Love had good people around him. And cause he knew how sick I was(along with all of us) of Shelley cause of his poor play and reports of his attitude, he literally texted me and asked if I hade it happen when the dismissal of Shelley was announced.

I appreciate El Sapo being a Shelley fan. Someone needs to be. Hopefully Shelley can drop down a level and have a productive ending to his college career.

Not related to the QB but another Miami player, former walk-on turned scholarship player is transferring. With his connections to the coaches would they be interested in him in transferring here @aggies22
