Re: New TE Coach
DJ may be my favorite TE we've ever had. Just something about him made me want to root for him and I really thought he could have made it in the NFL. I'm really excited that he'll be coaching the tight ends!

Re: New TE Coach
Sat in front of his mom several years ago the game he got seriously hurt. She missed the play entirely (as I recall he got cheapshotted, so it must have been the stench), and those of us who saw it gave her the update. Hated seeing him go down like that. He was such a tough player.
Looking forward to seeing some fierceness in the TE blocking execution.
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Re: New TE Coach
I remember watching him play his heart out against the zoobs. He had the responsibility of blocking Kyle Van Noy quite often during that game. That might have been the game Chuckie got hurt, but I don't remember for sure. Van Noy was an incredible athlete, but watching TJ give it his absolute all was awesome. He played his heart out every game. I can only imagine the fire he brings to the program now as a coach.

Re: New TE Coach
Super excited for DJ. He was an awesome player to watch and seems like he will really be able to relate to the players in the program and be able to coach them up well. I think it's good that they have him and Al who are both Poly's and are both from Utah and we're both former players at USU, that is something very good to build on.
