I do think it's interesting to look at the never used banners, which we hoped to have reason to use and didn't get to use. The Champions and shattered helmets from when we didn't win. While we had reason to think we would win against Wisconsin, Utah and USC and create shattered helmet banners with them just in case, I was surprised to see they actually took the time to make a shattered helmet with the X for LSU when it was a little more obvious we were not going to win or come close that time, or at least wait and make the banner IF we are shockingly in the game. And a whole other debate for another time is how many games we CAN win next year, which depends on how many quality players we can hold onto and where we can upgrade from the transfer portal, we'll have to see if it's worth making a shattered helmet banner for Washington State next year, or how often other games there will be reason to have high enough hopes of a win for it to be worth doing. Maybe it's just one small code that takes two seconds to punch in.
