Re: Coach Anderson Presser
Why would there be a meltdown? I think people were generally happy with Yost's offense. It was frustrating at times - many very quick 3 an outs. But compared to the garbage we've seen the past two years, I would think Yost would be welcomed back.
That said, I don't think Yost is coming back here.

Re: Coach Anderson Presser
That's true. Yost could coach the QB's or something? I'm just spitballing ideas. Nothing concrete here.

Re: Coach Anderson Presser
UFC plays incredibly fast as well with a lot of success so the OC shouldn't have to reinvent the wheel to make it work.

Re: Coach Anderson Presser
His comments about the S&C coach were interesting. He's part of a bowl team so it's not South Carolina's S&C coach. I wonder who it could be.

Re: Coach Anderson Presser
I think you need a deep defense to play very fast on offense. The fast offense, whether you score quick like we did in 2018 or you have a lot of short possessions without much time for a defense to rest. You need to have a strong 2-deep rotation on defense to have guys fresh and ready to play a lot of minutes.

The SEC has plenty of bowl tie-ins and season records don't matter this year.HomeTown wrote:His comments about the S&C coach were interesting. He's part of a bowl team so it's not South Carolina's S&C coach. I wonder who it could be.
Still very likely Jackson.

Re: Coach Anderson Presser
i made this mistake in a previous thread. win requirements for bowl games out the door this year. SC is being considered for a good bowl game, which they've already said they want to play. Could very well still be Jackson afterall...

Re: Coach Anderson Presser
Coach A just mentioned his girlfriend.
I know it totally doesn't matter, but I'm glad to hear that. It's gotta be helpful to have someone to lean on during the ups and downs of a college football program and in a stressful job like that.

Seems like a great person and coach. I am excited to see what he can do. I would love to hear more about his recruiting philosophy especially as it pertains to recruiting the State of Utah. I also loved how he spoke about Chuckie.
Re: Coach Anderson Presser
Great energy, actually reminds me of Craig Smith. I trust Hartwell.

I am not a big social media guy. Can someone ask him on the answer session about maintaining a good returned missionary program as that has been a pillar in turning the program around?

Re: Coach Anderson Presser
did anyone else get the vibe from the fan forum event that we're not planning to hit the transfer portal real hard? he didn't say those words, but it didn't sound like it was going to be a huge priority for him, even in this crazy year?

Re: Coach Anderson Presser
All those that jumped the gun to enter the portal before finding out who the new coach is going to have a lot of regrets. The portal is going to be packed and a lot of guys are going to be left out.

Re: Coach Anderson Presser
NCAA Compliance question: If somebody entered the portal, but regrets his decision (regardless of circumstances or reason for entering), is it true that it is up to his prior school to determine whether he will be permitted to re-enroll? Followup: Does his re-sign affect 25=25 in any way?
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Re: Coach Anderson Presser
Did anyone tell him about this message board and how all of his questions can be answered here and how everything that he does wrong (whether it is wrong or not) will be complained about here ad nauseum?
This could be his most valuable local resource.
