Should we be surprised if Logan Bonner ends up at USU? Would that be an improvement over what we already have in the QB room?

He signed quickly because he had his top three destinations already picked out.BustaMcNutt wrote: ↑December 18th, 2020, 7:28 pmI suggest we give this staff the benefit of the doubt in recruiting for now. For all we know, Sirmon has been talking to Central Michigan for awhile too. He signed pretty quickly after entering the portal.

I wonder who the third was after central Michigan and us. What a shame.aggies22 wrote: ↑December 19th, 2020, 1:53 pmHe signed quickly because he had his top three destinations already picked out.BustaMcNutt wrote: ↑December 18th, 2020, 7:28 pmI suggest we give this staff the benefit of the doubt in recruiting for now. If we could have signed this dude and didn’t, that’s disappointing.
Gotta think we would have beaten CMU.
On the other hand, he was third on the depth chart at UW behind two freshmen.

Pita Tonga, DT from Utah entered the portal. He nearly transferred to usu last year. Please go get him, coach Anderson. He’d immediately be our starting DT.

Re: Coach already hitting the recruiting
The Washington guy could be amazing but at this point I am kind of okay not taking a transfer QB just because he comes from a P5 team. If coach feels like he wants to do his due diligence with bringing in a transfer, I can absolutely respect that.

My philosophy is take all the 4 star players you can get and then figure it out later.LarryTheAggie wrote:The Washington guy could be amazing but at this point I am kind of okay not taking a transfer QB just because he comes from a P5 team. It’s not like he could be worse than Peasley.

I guarantee you a QB transfer gets brought in. It’s a need.

I'm actually really smart, probably smarter than you are so if you disagree with what I have stated in this post, you are likely wrong (and dumb).

Re: Coach already hitting the recruiting
aggies22, you ever push information or player availability you may learn to the coaching staff? I've wondered what role you play as a media person. I'm curious...

Re: Coach already hitting the recruiting
We could upgrade over Peasley, but I would feel better about Peasley and an upgrade at receiver than I would about our same receivers with a quarterback who is supposed to be an upgrade on paper.

UW guy (Jacob Sirmon) didn't expect a promise, just an opportunity for an open competition.
