I'm curious guys other than what chuckie did here as a player why are you guys so excited to have him back. Is he know as a great coach, or recruiter? I'd just like some insight for those that know him. I realize he seems to be a great person from my experience just don't know him from a coaching perspective. Thanks
He hasn't really been proven as a position coach, yet. But for 3 of the years he was here as a player, while he was injured he was basically an additional QB coach. Then he worked with the QBs as a Grad Assistant.

I said to my son, "Chuckie Keeton is joining the coaching staff."
"Who is that?"

Now we're watching the Auburn game. :)
So the fake field goal... that took guts and taking the delay of game before really sold it. I'm convinced that was on purpose.

If it wasn't for the finest onside kick ever taken we'd have won that game.

Just looking at the AFA highlight- It’s funny that Chuckie was an AFA commit at one point. I just don’t see how he would have fit their offense- maybe they would have started passing a bit more.

Stop trying to take some of my pain away. I love Chuckie. I wanted to name my son Keeton. But she was a daughter. And I still considered it.
My son is named Keeton after Chuckie 2012 😁

I want to name my next child Sam or Merrill
My Merrill is about to turn 1 in 10 days. I had him in my arms asleep when The Shot happened. It was the quietest and yet most exuberant celebration ever.
That's awesome! When Sam hit the shot, I celebrated by throwing my kids (2 and 4) up in the air (and catching them). Since then, every time I have a Bball or Fball game on they hover around hoping my team will win so I'll toss them up again. They've been disappointed a lot lately!
Jordan Nathan would have dropped them. Good thing you were there.

Jordan Love is the best throwing QB we've ever had, but Chuckie is the most electric player to ever don Aggie blue when he was healthy. His wheels and ability to escape from pressure were unreal.

On another tangent, the block at the 11 second mark of this video by the WR (I think it was Jacobs?) is a personal favorite. Waits for the DB to turn around and then just pops him.

Keeton would have been a neat name for your son who turned out to be your daughter!!! I caught a big break and my first born was my cherished and successful daughter, eventually followed by my son who bears his departed grandfathers name.

Loved watching both of them. Also loved watching Calvillo who worked some electric magic on the grid iron himself. Incidentally, as a QB Calvillo holds nearly every passing record there is in the CFL. 93 was a pretty great season for an Aggie fan. The win over BYU felt like I was in a dream from my spot in the student section and I really enjoyed the trip later to Las Vegas! Man, I’ve got some old games to go watch to get the nasty taste of 2020 outta my mouth.... it’s GREAT to be an AGGIE!
