Anthony Tucker from UCF known as a very good recruiter and has worked with BA in the past.

I just looked at his resume. Seems like a solid hire. I am sure BA will be assisting him as he enters his first role as an offensive coordinator full time. He played at Fresno, he also coached at Idaho State, Maryland, Colorado, Arkansas State and Central Florida. it looks like he was an offensive coordinator in a california high school as well. It seems like he will be able to recruit all over the country including the west. It looks like Blake will surround him with guys that can recruit out west.

Uh hiring a current oc at UCf is a big deal. Love the money we got in the assistant salary pool.

I think he was co-offensive coordinator, but yeah i think it is a big deal. What I really like is his diverse coaching background. He has coached all over the country. This should also get us back into a pipeline in Florida as he has been coaching there for a few years and one would assume recruited the area. Be nice to get some Gerold Bright (one of my favorites) type players from Florida.

Look at the current qbs in the transfer portal. I wonder if the connection with this hire might land us a qb from hawaii.

I thought only Chico had coached all over the country.

I was thinking the same thing. I think it was Milton that was at UCF, but suffered that horrific leg injury. No clue how well he will play after that injury or if he will even consider USU.

He is 100% healthy. He would be starting if it wasn’t for UCF picking up Dillon Gabriel. In fact ESPN Gameday did a piece on him last week or the week before about his recovery

Chuckie is good. Hope he is not alone. While Utah recruiting is not the most important criteria, there is a lot of PR benefit to having our coaches in the High School throughout Utah. I just hope the pendulum doesn't swing too far.

I want our new coaching staff to have a chance to choose who they believe is a good fit. Whether that is someone on the current staff with Utah connections or not someone on the current staff.

The only member of the current staff that I give half a second’s thought to keeping around is Stacy Collins for his PNW recruiting connections.
