They are killing Franks chances of being a head coach anywhere with this, and rightfully so TBH.

I honestly do not believe this for a second. I want to hear what was said. Not this general stuff.

This is actually really sad for Frank because he was not a part of the meeting and wasn't even aware of it, according the article linked prior.. Frustrating.

what the hell did Crotchet tell the team??? That statement is weird, I guess they asked her why USU didn't consider hiring FM and she made some comments? Really weird.

You all that are pointing the finger at Frank don’t have a clue. You should be pointing the finger at Mr. Hartwell the way he has handled this entire this is a complete embarrassment. I have lost a lot of respect for him. It’s absolutely 100% his fault. I hope somebody asks him straight up about it at the press conference... assuming there is one.

Yep. I want to hear the specific comments that they are upset about. Then I can decide whether they are in the right or not.

I'm honestly stunned right now. I do not want one kid returning to play for us next year. Absolute and complete sweep of the program. I don't buy the Noelle Cockett said something racial excuse. Not for one second. Truly embarrassing.

Re: Colorado State
"After Tuesday’s Zoom call with Cockett and Athletic Director John Hartwell to discuss Maile’s candidacy for the Utah State job, the team’s leadership council raised issues about Cockett’s comments regarding Maile, who is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The players were so “dumbfounded” by Cockett’s comments that a player conducted an anonymous players-only survey asking the players if they were on the zoom call and whether they were concerned about anything they heard in the meeting."
I obviously don't know what happened in that meeting, but I'd also be "dumbfounded" if Cockett didn't begin and end her discussion about Maile vs. Anderson with, "Look at their resumes."

It's as simple as telling them to think back on how they played against AF. If they wanted Maile, that was their chance.aggieguy13 wrote: ↑December 11th, 2020, 3:09 pm"After Tuesday’s Zoom call with Cockett and Athletic Director John Hartwell to discuss Maile’s candidacy for the Utah State job, the team’s leadership council raised issues about Cockett’s comments regarding Maile, who is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. There are a lot of people making some very bold statements while knowing very, very little about what’s happening in this thread.
Maybe before calling for players to be kicked off the team, or for Maile to never get a job again, or calling for Cockett to be fired we should wait for some more information? Just a thought.

1- Many, many players were very mad that Frank didn't get the job and were publicly airing their grievances on social media, but not one indication (outside of Shaq Bond) that anything inappropriate was said at the meeting.
2- Nobody will say what Cockett has supposedly said. Instead, there are just ambiguous allegations of inappropriate religious and cultural statements.
3- We have parents of players on this board who were posting the past 24 hours and obviously heard nothing about such alleged inappropriate statements.

Ok, the players statement doesn't talk about Hartwell or Cockett. It is the Brett McMurphy report that mentions Noelle. Re: Colorado State
The report says it was cocketts comment not hartwell's. How did hartwell actually botch the hiring process. I dont think frank is qualified for the job from a orofe1ssional standpoint, but his religion and cultural background should have nothing to do it.Elkaggie wrote: ↑December 11th, 2020, 3:04 pmPosted this in another thread.
