Our team and program reminds me

Of how our situation was when John L. Smith left us for Louisville. I just hope it doesn’t take 15 years to right the ship like it did between JOHN L. AND GARY A.?

We're in a better position with facilities and support and conference affiliation to be successful now than we were back then. Ryan Bohm has told us about this on the radio. When he played, they had meetings in the first aid room watching film on the old zenith TVs. And they would have to go all over campus for different things, while they now have everything in one place. Recruiting trips would consist of taking the kids to the Stan Laub Center, then driving by the stadium and telling them that was it, cause seeing the old facilities would have deterred them from coming. And that was only after we even had the Laub Center, which we didn't have at the time of John L. leaving for Louisville.
