Re: Warren
Im not sure, the announcers said it was an undisclosed injury

Re: Warren
I don't want to challenge someone like Tania on this, and there's certainly a chance I was told something wrong or that the situation has evolved, but I was told by a pretty reliable source that Jaylen Warren is leaving the program.

Re: Warren
If that's the case please disregard my post. I was told that Warren was leaving three or four days ago, so maybe something changed or there could have just been a misunderstanding. That's great to hear, my apologies.

Re: Warren
When you say leave the program, are we talkin transferring to a new team or just giving up football? With the struggle that Warren has had to stay healthy I could see him just not wanting to go through that anymore but I have no inside information.

Re: Warren
I just heard the announcers say it as to why DHC got the start.
EDIT: Stang is correct. Just confirmed it. and for the record Jordan did not tell me. #parentssticktogether

Re: Warren
I wish him the best (unless he transfers to the tds). To bad he couldn't stay healthy enough to be play a major role in our offense. I think we'll be fine at rb. We seem to have a pretty good group there.

Re: Warren
Again, any concern of not having scholi’s to give next year is evaporating.
I feel some bad decisions are being made, but my opinion is a bit biased.
Noa and Gentry going to have to step up!

Re: Warren
Wow. What wonder what the story is here?? I don’t understand doing it middle of the season. So strange and he’s listed as the #1 RB.

Re: Warren
I'm beginning to see why this team struggled. Too many players leaving mid-season. Winners don't leave midseason. Too many toxic personalities. Kudos here still playing their hearts out. They deserve our support.

Re: Warren
So if Trevor Lawrence quit today and wanted to come to USU, you wouldn’t take him?
Yeah right.

I'm actually really smart, probably smarter than you are so if you disagree with what I have stated in this post, you are likely wrong (and dumb).

Before everyone jumps to conclusions, and talks down on Jaylen, I dont think he has hit the transfer portal yet....

No reason to talk down on any player in any case. People make choices. It happens. I hope he stays, but wish him the best regardless.taniataylor wrote: ↑November 27th, 2020, 3:59 pmBefore everyone jumps to conclusions, and talks down on Jaylen, I dont think he has hit the transfer portal yet....

Re: Warren
I wish him well if he leaves.
I am honestly ready to roll with the young guys anyway to see what we’ve got.

Re: Warren
This. I will panic more over us losing young guys who we would get for 3 or 4 more years, than ones who we would just get for one or two. When I see posts stressing over us losing players, it's the young ones I am REALLY hoping we don't lose. And hopefully, the way we had some young guys step up last night, hopefully that's a sign they are full in for the future.ineptimusprime wrote: ↑November 27th, 2020, 4:35 pmI wish him well if he leaves.

I’d love to have Warren if he stays. He is probably the best Gary recruit.GameFAQSAggie wrote: ↑November 27th, 2020, 4:40 pmThis. He has had a really hard time staying healthy while here, so it’s hard to even say how many healthy Jaylen Warren games we are even missing out on if he leaves.

Re: Warren
This is troubling. DHC has stepped up and impressed the last couple games but both Noa and Gentry have been just so-so. They are young and will develop further and maybe now is the time to get them plenty or reps to prepare for next season.

Re: Warren
I agree I have really liked it when he has ran the ball. I think it would like to see him get some more touches. But I also think Noa and Gentry are going to be really good once they get some more time underneath them.

Re: Warren
O would really be interested to know the full story with these transfers. Were they not 100% committed to the team all along? Did someone push their trike in a ditch so they decided to bail on their teammates?

Re: Warren
The most troublesome for me is that these transfers are coming mid season and not at the end when play is over. What the heck is going on that is causing this to be the logical course of action???

Re: Warren
U imagine we don't have to look any farther than the midseason firing. Blood in the water. Sharks circling.
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Depends on why he left mid season. IF he left because he was a toxic player and dragged the entire team down and decreased moral then no I wouldn't take him.

Re: Warren
I don’t blame guys. They don’t see a future here and have probably not enjoyed this season or year (who has). They don’t want to risk getting hurt and ruining what’s left of their careers. Maybe a new coach can convince some of these guys to return but in my view once you’ve decided to leave the team it’s best for all involved to do it quickly. I don’t think it’s a coincidence we had our best performance of the year with some of these guys no longer around

Re: Warren
We just don't know the whole truth. No assumptions made. It is what it is. We can't change anything on that end, but just support these youth in their decisions and their needs. Truth, they may make some poor decisions or be less committed. We need to remember they are youth and learning life skills and lessons. Please, no character assassinations of these young men.

Re: Warren
I don’t disagree, but who is assassinating Warrens character? I see people being critical of the decision being made but that’s it. I think this thread is quite fair to the situation.
