It looked like he was singing that “Free-falling” song. :noidea:

I get that everyone is angry. We should be. But this is really not on Shelley. Its squarely on the shoulders of Gary Andersen. He's the one that went and got him. He's the one that drove Colombi away. He's the one that tanked our program. He's the one that put Shelley in this spot where he's clearly in over his head. Shelley is not the answer but he is also not the guy to vent all of our anger at. If that video is the extent of what happened on the sideline, then it was nothing. By reading the posts on here, it sounded like he murdered someone or something.

Very sad that Andersen took us all the way to #16 in the country and has now taken us back to where we were before he got here the first time.
Andersen put Shelley in a bad situation, Shelley is responsible for how he responds to that situation.

And if he just doesn’t have the talent/ability, how exactly is he supposed to do that?

Not telling teammates to F-off would be a good start.

I'm taking about attitude and leadership.
You can't blame Andersen for Shelley's poor treatment of his teammates. Shelley is doing that on his own.

Honestly this whole situation makes me more impressed with Jordan Love and his leadership.

He also was put in a really hard spot last year with a whole new OL and losing his best receivers, and his stats took a big hit his senior year because of it.

And yet, not once did he get frustrated with his teammates. Not once did he throw them under the bus when he was in his draft process. He always talked about his performance and the performance as the offense as a whole. Hats off to the kid.
