Re: 5,500 fans at home games
Look my Aggie brothers, I'm willing to take one for the team and volunteer to attend our home games. I'm sure you will all appreciate my willingness to sacrifice my time.

Re: 5,500 fans at home games
I'm guessing they would probably allocate maybe a thousand to 1500 for student tickets. And then 4000 to 4500 for season ticket holders. I'm hoping to get to at least two of the games with my season tickets.
Re: 5,500 fans at home games
My wife and I are in our late 60's, and we don't handle the cold games very well. I wonder if they will let some of us defer our season tickets (that have been paid) towards next year's season? I'd be happy to have the young bucks fill the stadium first even though we've been season ticket holders for 25+ years.

If anyone deserves the spots it’s you.
If I’m lucky enough to attend, Finn and I will be there.

I went to all of the home games and 2 road games of the 2006 season and celebrated our lone win over Fresno like we had won the National Championship...so I deserve at least 1 ticket to 1 game.

Re: 5,500 fans at home games
Im thinking priority should be:
1. Player families
2. Recruits
2. Students
3. Season ticket holders
4. University Employees
5. General Public
5500 definitely isnt much to go around.

Not a bad list BUT because of the MORONIC decision to extend the recruiting dead period until January 1st of 2021, we are NOT allowed to give tickets to potential student athletes. We are also NOT allowed to bring anyone on an official visit.

I was a season ticket holder back in a day when only 5500 would show up, even with no fan restrictions.

"A" game.
So I take it there isn't enough for all 4 games.
You'd think it would be section specific though right? Got to spread people out.

How stupid! What we really need is to bring kids from all over the country, put them on a plane, then have them enter our facilities and spend time in direct contact with our staff and players! That's the best thing we could do right now in a pandemic.aggies22 wrote:Not a bad list BUT because of the MORONIC decision to extend the recruiting dead period until January 1st of 2021, we are NOT allowed to give tickets to potential student athletes. Re: 5,500 fans at home games
I think players should have the opportunity to visit campuses if they so choose. You realize there are precautions that can be taken to help prevent the transmission. Have people wear masks, social distance and require everyone that is attending to have a negative COVID-19 test prior to arrival. Better yet put these protocols in place and then allow the universities and players to make the decision if they want to participate and visit as long as they follow the guidelines. Life can proceed on in a relatively safe manner without just shutting everything down.QuackAttackAggie wrote: ↑October 6th, 2020, 8:11 amHow stupid! You can disagree with someone without calling them or their ideas stupid. Just my opinion. In this case 22 was not directing any comments towards you. I understand that you strongly disagree.QuackAttackAggie wrote: ↑October 6th, 2020, 8:11 amHow stupid! Is the goal “zero cases” before we can have any visits and recruiting?QuackAttackAggie wrote:How stupid! I don't understand this type of response. Can you just state that you believe that is what the NCAA is thinking, without all the sarcasm?QuackAttackAggie wrote: ↑October 6th, 2020, 8:11 amHow stupid! I don't understand the over sensitivity to sarcasm. In most cases (and I believe that to be the case in Quacks comment), jokes are said with the intent of lighthearted fun, and if people can loosen up, they might find more joy in life by being able to laugh occasionally instead of looking for new ways to be offended.

Re: 5,500 fans at home games
That was my first year as a season ticket holder. I remember I'd sometimes arrive a little late, park right at the bottom of the stairs from the parking lot to the stadium on the west side with my low level parking pass and walk up to my pick of seating locations. We also didn't score an offensive touchdown until game 4 that year. So glad that times have changedAggieFBObsession wrote: ↑October 6th, 2020, 10:27 ampablohoney wrote: ↑October 5th, 2020, 8:51 pmI went to all of the home games and 2 road games of the 2006 season and celebrated our lone win over Fresno like we had won the National Championship...so I deserve at least 1 ticket to 1 game.

Sad to me that you judge this as over-sensitivity. Civility is not a bad thing. I have a wonderful, happy life. I remember being at that game in the Huddle Club and not really even having any idea who Baylor was. I just though it was a weird name.

Re: 5,500 fans at home games
Fair enough. My post was not exclusive to you, but either way, I never said that people do not have wonderful, happy lives. I simply said people could have more joy if they didn't go out of their way to proactively look for reasons to be offended when they read a joke that was intended to make people laugh. I could be wrong, but I just didn't see Quack's post as an aggressive, malicious comment. Even though he used the word stupid, it was not name calling and was in response to aggies22 expressing his opinion using the word moronic. In fact, if anyone is looking for extra reasons to be offended, aggies22 had moronic in all caps, so that seems fairly uncivil. I agree that civility is a good thing and something we should all strive for. Back to the original subject, hopefully everyone who wants to attend the 4 home games will have a chance to do so.newhouse9 wrote: ↑October 6th, 2020, 11:42 amSad to me that you judge this as over-sensitivity. Per hartwell only 3 other mw schools allowing fans in Wyoming and the two Nevada schools. I would have thought Air Force would let in the cadets at least.
Kind of surprised no on Boise.

Re: 5,500 fans at home games
That is surprising to me...at least we don't have to worry about travelling to away games this season. I hope we can hang in there and have at least the 5500. Does anyone know if that includes the premium seating...club seats and suites? I know that some of the suites leased by business are not going to be used, as they are mostly used for entertaining clients, etc.

Re: 5,500 fans at home games
Don't know the UNLV/UNR allowed attendance but WY is letting in 7k and AFA is allowing cadets and by roommates 2x2 spacing...(see below). AF blew-out NAVY but NAVY is on a down year and ARMY should give them more of a challenge this year!
STORYLINES: AFA
• The safety and well-being of cadets, coaches, staff and the local community have been at the forefront of Air Force's decisions throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. The Academy has been working closely with local and state public health officials and has determined that, due to the accommodations and size of Falcon Stadium, the only fans allowed at the game will be Air Force Academy cadets, who will be seated in twos (roommates), social distanced and wearing masks. The base remains closed and there will be no tailgating allowed. Fans are urged to check the Air Force website later this week for information on watch parties.
• The Mountain West will begin the 2020 football season on Oct. 24. The schedule will follow in the coming weeks.
• The Air Force football team will honor the Tuskegee Airmen with the 2020 edition of the Air Power Legacy Series uniform. The Falcons will debut the special uniform for the Navy game.
• Air Force's eight-game winning streak dating back to 2019 is the longest active streak in the nation.
• Air Force is scheduled to play the second leg of the CIC competition at Army Saturday, Nov. 7, at 9:30 a.m. MT, The game will be national-televised by CBS.
