Re: Official!
BYU is still playing even though Provo (and Orem) just rolled back to orange. They won’t have fans, but they are playing.

Re: Official!
Saw the tweet from John Hartwell that said they are working on the schedule as well as limited capacity seating. I sure would love to go to at least one game.

Re: Official!
In a perfect world - our schedule would look like:
Oct 24 - @Fresno (facing an underprepared team)
Oct 31 - Bosie St. (to boost our rankings - we always play better earlier in the year)
Nov 7 - @New Mexico
Nov 14 - Wyoming
Nov 21 - @UNLV
Nov 28 - Nevada
Dec 5 - @SJST
Dec 12 - Colorado St.
Dec 19 - @Hawaii
Dec 26 - Mountian West Championship
Jan 2 - @Fiesta Bowl
No cold-weather non-con games and the home games against Nevada and CSU will be played around noon MST.

The @SCC is Santa Clara County, so I am going to assume SJSU is one.

I can almost guarantee that Hawaii won't be playing. Fresno, DUDS, San Joser, and New Mexico might also have issues.

I have seen that all of the Cali teams are playing. Not sure about Hawaii and UNM.

Their local news seems pretty confident Hawaii will be playing.

We played at Fresno last year, why would we give them two consecutive at home games?OrangeCountyAggie wrote: ↑September 24th, 2020, 10:41 pmIn a perfect world - our schedule would look like:

Re: Official!
I would love to see @UNLV. If at all possible, I would try to get to that one in the new stadium.

If the Raiders can't have fans, there's no way UNLV will.

Is it that the Raiders can't have fans? Last I heard quoted from Mark Davis was that if they couldn't have all of the fans they weren't going to have any.aceofspadeskb wrote: ↑September 25th, 2020, 10:17 amIf the Raiders can't have fans, there's no way UNLV will.

Re: Official!
Gatherings of more than 50 people are not allowed in Nevada right now. I just saw a convention on the news last night that had 320 attendees at MGM and they split them up into 7 different ballrooms to get around the rule. The live speakers and performers were in one ballroom and video of the event was output to the others.

Re: Official!
I’m most excited that the seniors that will finally be able to play the game they love again... imagine that for some guys it felt like their career was over and taken away from them and that they’d never be able to play a down of meaningful football again.
Go out and make football fun again! Cherish the moment!

Mark Davis did say in an email to STH on the decision to play games without fans, "The decision also ensures fairness to you, our PSL holders, given the challenges and potential inequities associated with determining who can and cannot attend specific games if the stadium were to operate at a reduced capacity."
So basically what he said is the logistics are just too tough to determine who and who can't go to games so we're just not gonna deal with that. I imagine that theres absolutely no chance UNLV will have fans this season, but it still would be really cool to play in that new stadium.

Re: Official!
I figure this is kind of a throw-away year in terms of scheduling patterns. I put them first because I don't think they'll be as good as last year and we would be far more prepared since their players haven't even reported to campus yet.ViAggie wrote: ↑September 25th, 2020, 9:09 amWe played at Fresno last year, why would we give them two consecutive at home games?OrangeCountyAggie wrote: ↑September 24th, 2020, 10:41 pmIn a perfect world - our schedule would look like:

This was the easiest schedule I could come up with unless you swap out Bosie for San Diego State or Air Force. But under this scenario, if you beat Bosie early, maybe we'd be ranked in the top 25 and then coast through an easy schedule from there on out.
