Jason Phillips Gone?

Saw that Deion Sanders was mentioned as saying that his new staff at Jackson State has been completed, and that Jason Phillips is listed as the OC.

Wouldn't doubt it. Those 2 are close and Phillips has the resumé to coordinate there. Tough timing.

Yeah, that's the team that we played in basketball and lost to which was bad, and everyone disagreed with Stew scheduling the game. For years after that, teams that sucked would be referred to as "Jackson State", and we would want to say avoiding a "Jackson State". At least until IPFW.??
There would be times we would lose and people would exaggerate and say it was "(Jackson State and/or IPFW) all over again" when we lost to teams not nearly as bad as Jackson State, and/or when we sucked and accepted we would lose some games and some to crappy teams, in contrast to otherwise good teams losing to Jackson State and IPFW.

I have two unnamed sources connected with the program (one in the media and the other on the coaching staff) that agree this is a false report about Phillips.
