and doesn't say "Ontario California" either. Because NBC doesn't have clips of players talking this year!

I will always love that 2011 team. Yeah it sucked we blew so many close games and the bowl sucked with how we choked it away, but that team broke through and showed winning was possible at USU again. BWAGS of course was the star of that team along with the running backs. Love seeing him be great in the NFL.

Anyone upset over that is an idiot. Don’t be an idiot.

I'm actually really smart, probably smarter than you are so if you disagree with what I have stated in this post, you are likely wrong (and dumb).

I'm not one to tell anyone how to spend their money, but it is interesting to me how Bobby is not involved philanthropically at Utah State. Perhaps he is waiting until the end of his career, perhaps someone that now lives in Lubbock burned some bridges. Hard to say!

He reads this board religiously, and so he knows that Utah state fans are cheap. He is just trying to fit in.YoungBloodAggie wrote: ↑September 21st, 2020, 7:47 amI'm not one to tell anyone how to spend their money, but it is interesting to me how Bobby is not involved philanthropically at Utah State. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

It is probably best for us Bobby Wagner doesn't mention USU at the Disco Clubs.

I do not know what many players have done for USU. I'm not sure what Kevin Curtis, Jaycee Carrol or others have done. Perhaps I should have more info before passing judgement ? Because some give but do not want publicity.

Speaking of religion, cheap fans, and this board...if he understood the nuances of the situations he would also understand that most of us have a built in 10% pay reduction which is what allows the rest of the fan bases in the nation to have the disposable income available to donate to their favourite hobbies. This shouldn't be his reason for not donating. And for all we know he donates anonymously.ususports wrote: ↑September 21st, 2020, 8:33 amHe reads this board religiously, and so he knows that Utah state fans are cheap. I guess those of us that belong to another religion do not pay anything towards their faith ? I give every Sunday.sockpuppet wrote: ↑September 22nd, 2020, 9:37 amSpeaking of religion, cheap fans, and this board...if he understood the nuances of the situations he would also understand that most of us have a built in 10% pay reduction which is what allows the rest of the fan bases in the nation to have the disposable income available to donate to their favourite hobbies. What do you feel Aggie athletes who make millions in the pros owe Utah State financially?

This thread is embarrassing.

If people could lighten up and enjoy a joke every once in awhile, it wouldn't be nearly so embarrassing.

Obviously an athlete that receives a full scholarship and then goes onto success in professional sports or careers and makes millions does not owe the university anything. That being said a person who receives a full ride scholarship and given this opportunity and then makes millions should highly consider giving back to the university that afforded that opportunity.Aggie formerly in Hawaii wrote: ↑September 22nd, 2020, 11:04 amWhat do you feel Aggie athletes who make millions in the pros owe Utah State financially?
I have no clue if former athletes have given back unless it was publicized. I will never look down upon them if they don't give back as that is their own decision. Obviously it is awesome when they do and would hope they have that desire.

That is pretty much my position. Good for any ex-USU athlete who gives back, but nobody should knock them for not doing so. Also we don't know what players have given back. Not every donation is public.Aggie84025 wrote: ↑September 22nd, 2020, 11:31 amObviously an athlete that receives a full scholarship and then goes onto success in professional sports or careers and makes millions does not owe the university anything. Re: Bobby Wagner, on SNF, doesn't say "Utah State" this year either
Agree. And with the high percentage of athletes that end up broke only a few years after their playing career is over, I wouldn't fault anyone taking a slow-roll approach to giving a bunch of money away. Bobby should make certain he and his have no threat of financial concerns, then look to give to others.Aggie formerly in Hawaii wrote: ↑September 22nd, 2020, 11:46 amThat is pretty much my position.
