The most shocking thing that I know for sure is that the best Indian food I've ever had is in a gas station in Logan, UT.Yossarian wrote: ↑September 23rd, 2020, 10:56 amIf a kid asks you to cook, you cook. You're going to have to continue up Logan Canyon east of campus and drive to Bear Lake for the burgers and shakes. The locals in Logan will be able to fill you in on the best local places. Herm's is a great place for a hearty breakfast. Tandoori Oven (just west of campus/Maverik Stadium) is good if you are into Indian food. Maybe this needs its own thread?
Any news on a season possibly starting on the 24th?
I still can't wrap my head around this one, but it's true.

Same. I don’t like curry so I’ve always stayed away from Indian food. Some friends convinced be try Tandoori and i now considered it one of my top 3 in town. Every other time since that I have tried Indian food I’ve been severely disappointed.tetonaggie wrote: ↑September 24th, 2020, 5:29 pm^^^ I can confirm this ^^^918AGG wrote: ↑September 24th, 2020, 4:18 pmThe most shocking thing that I know for sure is that the best Indian food I've ever had is in a gas station in Logan, UT.Yossarian wrote: ↑September 23rd, 2020, 10:56 amIf a kid asks you to cook, you cook. Re: OCT 24
Indian Oven was started ~2003 in the gas station by one of the head chefs from Bombay House in SLC (also fantastic food). I was told third-hand that ~2008 the family had some sort of falling out or something, but it ended up with Indian Oven moving to Main Street and Tandoori Oven remaining in the gas station. And that is why there is 2 really great Indian restaurants in Logan but I can’t find decent Tikka Masala in Ogden.Elkaggie wrote: ↑September 24th, 2020, 8:01 pmSame. This is the story I heard too. And some may have a favorite but I wouldn't turn down food from either place. They're both fantastic.MalAgua wrote: ↑September 24th, 2020, 8:40 pmIndian Oven was started ~2003 in the gas station by one of the head chefs from Bombay House in SLC (also fantastic food). Re: OCT 24
A minor correction to your story. The restaurant in the gas station was formerly called Indian Oven. The restaurant moved to Main Street, 2008 sounds about right. Not long after the move there was some sort of falling out and Sam left Indian Oven and restarted the restaurant at the gas station under the new name Tandoori Oven.MalAgua wrote: ↑September 24th, 2020, 8:40 pmIndian Oven was started ~2003 in the gas station by one of the head chefs from Bombay House in SLC (also fantastic food). I am firmly a “Sam” guy and haven’t stepped foot in Indian Oven since Tandoori opened.

Yes, rather than talking about gross Indian food that does not look, smell, or taste good, let’s talk about how exciting it is for USU football to actually have a season in one month from today!taniataylor wrote: ↑September 24th, 2020, 9:46 pmUmmm guys.... hellooooo..... WE ARE PLAYING Oct 24th!!

I love raspberry shakes at garden city.
Yes! The big patches that were in Garden City are gone(from what I have heard), but a lot of locals from laketown to georgetown have large patches.
