Okay so it was off by a week but this time confirmed. 8 game conference only schedule. They better hope they don't have any rescheduling issues with COVID since there's not enough weeks to make it up.

None at all for a full season or a legit conference season, but I dont see why they cant come to an agreement to at least let teams that are able to play, play some games.

Honest question can we as fans apply any pressure? You’d think between all the fan bases we at least could organize an email campaign.

That is a good question. We dont have the power of the big ten. The mw is obviously a different animal financially than the p5. If there was some fan movement, I would support it though. I am sure many players would too.

As long as we have California schools in the conference the chances are extremely low.

I know that. As I've said it is a shame they wont let teams that are able to play get some games in. I dont think anyone is expecting a normal season at this point.

If they don't know what the fans want by now, they are incompetent.

Are you sure they aren't? Their decision making or lack there-of seems to suggest it's possible.

Bingo, as long as Governor Newsom keeps things locked down and restricts the California schools from competing the rest of the conference is held hostage. Unfortunately I don't see that douche knuckle changing his mind. We should let the teams that can/want to play continue on with a modified season, but I doubt that will happen either. Looking forward to the start of the 2021 season.

I know the perfect person to organize that on this board. No let up! SLB you available? :)

You're right. All eyes are on California. Really it's the PAC 12's move now. If the PAC 12 plays, then the MWC will follow. We all have to wait to see what the PAC 12 does.

Oct 17th. Aggies better suit up.

Post by AGGIEinIOWA » September 16th, 2020, 10:20 am

Does the fact that the west coast is burning as we speak play into the PAC12 decision at all. Air quality alone may prohibit playing. I know a month is a ways away but is there reason to believe the fires will be under control by then? Or that Utah, Idaho, Wyo, Arizona, and Colorado may not be ablaze by then?

I think for sure it is a concern and is adding to the concern. Who knows what will happen in a month with the fires.

Absolutely. Fire season isn’t close to being over. Where I live in WA we pegged out the EPA Air Quality Index - a level of PM2.5 close to 15 times higher than the National Ambient Air Quality Standard.

We have the same issue in California. I haven't seen the blue of a sky in two weeks

Hope you and your family are doing ok. Definitely a tough thing with the fires and the poor air quality they create.

Hey Rocky Mountain welcome back!

Congrats on the win on Saturday. How did you feel about the game?

Btw Trevor Lawrence is one of my favorite players in college football.
Thanks! It’s great to be back here but will be better when we are all discussing our teamS playing.

I think Clemson did about what I thought we’d do. Just kind of sleepwalk through the first game. No fans makes it hard to generate energy.

I’m holding out hope the Aggies will be playing soon!
Well they appear to be the team to beat again.
Is Clemson going to let any fans attend?
Sorry, I did not see this earlier.
We are having only 19,000 fans. I suggested they have 19,081 as a re: to our first national championship year lol

It’s very hard to get a ticket now so I am thinking I won’t be able to go any this year :(
