Big Loss for Air Force
Hammond III, starting QB, is no longer a cadet in good standing...

That sucks. I never like seeing a MW school lose a good player, especially a cadet. If it was Boise's QB I could probably get over it though.

This is akin to a Boise QB losing his CDL endorsement.CanuckAggie wrote: That sucks. I never like seeing a MW school lose a good player, especially a cadet. If it was Boise's QB I could probably get over it though.

I have 0 respect for Troy Calhoun.
Couldn’t have happened to a better guy.

Re: Big Loss for Air Force
I read an article that said once a player is no longer a "cadet in good standing", said player rarely makes it back for the upcoming season.

Can they work back though?
Honestly this really hurts Air Force. All though there second string guy always seems to run for 200 yards on us.

Re: Big Loss for Air Force
From the article in this thread it states that when somebody loses the cadet in good standing it's generally hard to return that same season.

The guy who ran for 200 yards on 44 carries against us as a third string freshman has transferred to Stanford.

Re: Big Loss for Air Force
True, but the funny thing is that their second string guy, Isaiah Sanders, already tranferred to Stanford back in January. That's why this stings even more for AFA.
EDIT: doh! GFA beat me to it.

Re: Big Loss for Air Force
Has he entered the transfer portal? Maybe we can pick him up to supplement our sparse quarterback stable.
The amount of energy necessary to refute bull pucky is an order of magnitude greater than to produce it.

Re: Big Loss for Air Force
When I was in high school, an army guy came to do a presentation in a trailer that our teachers could take us to, and it gave us a taste of how they take everything seriously in the army. He told us how he had been in the army for 20 plus years and one little thing would disqualify him.
