His photo makes it look like he is a very bad one legged punter.

He absolutely must have seen what I wrote because the photo associated with the profile changed in the hour since I posted it haha

I assume he is celebrating after a touchdown. You can see the letters in the endzone.

A corner that we recently offered that seems to know this recruit and also a recruit from last year is announcing tomorrow. Has quite a few offers.

According to the 247 guys in down south, he's a Houston lean but Jason Phillips is having some recent success down there.

It's okay. When the top CB on our board finally publicly announces his commitment it will be very exciting.

I know it's highlights, but looks like he could be really good catching the ball out of the backfield. Really like what is coming into the Aggie backfield over the next few years.

Kendric is the type of kid that, had he not committed, realistically would have gathered up 10-20 G5 offers and probably 4-5 P5 offers. He will likely not receive a 247 ratings bump now, but his performance last year and his athleticism would have jumped off the page at 7-on-7/summer camps (most have been cancelled in Texas).

This guy is a huge get, and the coaching staff will be working doubly hard to make sure that he isn't stolen by silver-tongued recruiters from other schools. Unreal that we will have Noa, Gentry, and Rhymes together for 2-3 years. Rhymes will also be in the backfield with Nawahine when he returns. This staff has done extremely well bringing in HS talent to the backfield.

I agree. We are assembling a group that is going to rival the Robert Turbin, Mike Smith, Kerwynn Williams, Joe Hill, Joey DeMartino years.

Yup very good group. While we had some good players In both position groups, Wells left running back and receiver very thin and needing some focus. This staff has done very well building up the running backs depth. May be a little light in depth this year but I like where we are headed.

I've heard that Gary has a "Silver Tongue" as well and can be VERY persuasive. Is that true 22? ;)

I think it became evident that Wells found his formula for success was to find late gems from the JC ranks to fill the RB slot. (Darwin Thompson, Devonte Mays, Eltoro Allen, Tonny Lindsey). Had he not left for Texas Tech I'm sure there were a few guys Wells had identified that he was going to bring in as immediate plug and play from the JC ranks that then never happened and ended up leaving a gaping hole.

You are right, although he did bring in hs guys and most didn’t seem to pan out. Long term success in building depth on a football roster cannot be accomplished by only being successfully through the jc ranks.

EXACTLY. The JC system is a great way for schools, especially G5 schools, to plug holes and make a run at success. It is not designed for long-term sustainability or success.

I know for a FACT that Matt Wells pulled a scholarship offer to Jaylen Warren prior to Coach Andersen making Jaylen a priority.

We aren't going to need JuCo help at RB for years. I'm that confident in these kids.

One other interesting note. I don’t usually post offers in football. But we are actively another hs running back as well. Recently offered him.
