I was watching McShay on Sportscenter last night. He has a $5,000 bet with Mel Kiper that Love goes before Oregon's QB.

This is so awesome! As Aggie fans we really need to enjoy every seconds of this. It doesn't happen like this very often for us. So happy for Jordan the whole program!

Warm weather for at least 9 games (8 home and 1 roadie in Vegas) would be a very good thing for Jordan.

if he goes to SD, I predict 3 playoff berths with 1, maybe two playoff wins in a career lasting less than 10-years and under .500 record.

While the pub has been nice, every mention of Love has also been accompanied by remarks of "nobody around him", "bad team in a small conference", "great player on a bad team", and "poor coaching".

While I agree with you that it isn't all positive about the program, I think that this is way better than if he wasn't getting the publicity at all. Would you rather that no one in the country heard a word about USU Football all offseason long? I usually have to dig deep into espn and bleacher report to get anything on our football program, and now our star QB is on the front page. I love it!

I agree in that San Diego is potentially an XFL expansion site.

As for the NFL team, in Los Angeles, I think it would be an awesome fit for Jordan.

The value for USU is not in having Jordan mentioned in pre-draft conversations. The true value is in Jordan having a prosperous, long career which results in:
-Free advertising and recruiting dollars every time he plays on television
-Donations back to the program when he signs a huge second contract
-Positive relationships with NFL scouts as they look at Aggies in future classes

As I predicted last month! But we shall see... I think he could go to GB, which would not be good for him.

Wow, I forgot the Chargers "moved" . Either way - LAC are not an organization which has shown the ability to assemble a team good enough to excel in the league. IMO, that won't bring an illustrious career for JLove - at least as far as playoffs.

I actually think this would be a great fit! I think having a guy at QB that is from that city would help with fans and popularity! I would expect Love to get lots of LOVE from LA if he ended up going there since he would be a hometown boy who has a cool "underdog" story.

I think the Chargers are in better shape than we think. They dealt with tons of injuries on defense and lost almost all their games by one score. They just have to play in the same division as the Chiefs which won't be fun.

If it were warmer and Rodgers wasn't such a little b**** it would be fine. I like Indianapolis more for him as he'd get to play half his games indoors and surrounded by a very good OL.

GB has the most storied QB tradition in the league (Herbert, Rote, Starr, Favre, Rogers). If Love landed there and could be the next great QB in that linage it would be cool as heck.

Not to mention that Matt Lefleur might be a great coach for him. Lefleur has Coached 2 MVPs (Rodgers and Matt Ryan) and helped develop a young RG III into the 2012 rookie of the year. It is crucial for Love's future that his first coaching staff develops him appropriately.

Maybe leave the immense bust RG3 out of the equation. The biggest problem with GB is Rodgers and the cold. Rodgers does not take kindly to competition. He wouldn't be helpful to Love.

I'll be happy for JL if he goes 6th to the Chargers.

I'm guessing that JL would be happy to go 6th to the Chargers.

... but damn, if there's a more poorly supported NFL team out there, I don't know what it would be. I can't imagine that the Chargers will still be in LA 5 years from now. If you want good football support, move them to OKC.

they should move a team to Toronto! Just like NBA, the whole country of Canada would be behind the team that moves there. I am saying this because I am part Canadian as my father is from there and I would love to see a Canadian football team.
