Dave Schramm: New RBs Coach
There was speculation that he would be in the mix as our offensive coordinator...now we get him as our RB's coach...interesting...

Re: Dave Schramm: New RBs Coach
Seems like a steal as a position coach. I'm good with this hire.
Reader will be here a while. He's young, and I don't see him jumping after one good year.

This. Just as there are guys you DONT want as a head coach but would love to get as a coordinator, there are similarly guys like him you DONT want as a coordinator but love to have a position coach.

He doesn't have a great history as OC. I'd be a bit worried if he moved there.

Re: Dave Schramm: New RBs Coach
Seems to have a good pedigree. OC at both Fresno State and Utah, both of which had good offenses under him. However, his offense at WSU was in the bottom half of the conference both years he was there, but how far from the top, I don't know. They won a lot of games under him. He's got a lot of coaching experience, however, and most of it quite good. Some of it included running backs and tight ends,.

Re: Dave Schramm: New RBs Coach
For a running backs coach this is a fantastic hire. He is happy to be a position coach and is not going to be someone who is trying to take the next step. I think he will be a good asset in helping Bodie grow as a coordinator.
