Boston College is not an easy place to win at. Going .500 over 8 years is not bad. That being said it does seem like kind of a weird hire. Seems he has zero ties to the west.

CSU seems like the perfect springboard job to a P5 school for an ambitious young coordinator or fcs coach. Not sure why they hire retreads or middling coordinators like Bobo.

Glad they didn’t pursue Jay Hill or offer Aranda.

It seems weird the "right coach" wouldn't seek them out and sell them on his plans for the team (like Gary Andersen did at USU the first time around). Given the money involved and the possible springboard effects.
