Second half
Not sure what the stats are but We got worked!! Luckily they gifted us 2 TO’s before half.
What is the deal with our defense? Cont contain/set the edge, can’t tackle. They basically ran the same play over and over and we couldn’t stop it. Very Odd to have our defense digress so much.

Re: Second half
They are horrible to watch. Honestly. It is like watching little league. Guys can not get off blocks. Poor pursuit. And holy mother @#$$%*& do we need to work on tackling.
I thought the team should have had a bit of a chip on their shoulder being less than 2 td favorites to a team with 2 wins. Nope.
Anyway, I'm ready to move on. Glad for the win. Glad for the extra bowl practices. Hope we address some big issues in the off season.

Re: Second half
For sure was not pretty, but that is why they play 2 halves. First half other than the long TD drive the defense played great. 2nd half not so great, but a win is a win and it is nice to be 7-5

Re: Second half
I wonder how many of our fans came on board last year and simply don’t understand what normal or better than average looks like.

Re: Second half
I am sure that my memory is biased so I am just remembering the good stuff, but it seems like in years past when we had good defenses, we would swarm the ball carrier. Our first or even second guy might not make the tackle but there were 4 more guys right behind him to finish the job. I am not seeing that kind of pursuit this year.

Re: Second half
Not to be insulting, but we have seen our coaching schemes throughout this season and the opposing coaches also see and adjust to address it. I believe that is why the second half, so many times, has been a test for all of us. Next season is far too late for many of these schemes we have seen wilt on the vine.

Re: Second half
Your boy had a really solid game. Just so happy for this team. The extra practices for the bowls will be huge for the under classmen. I believe it is 8 bowls in 9 years. Not too bad, the 30 years of my life prior I only saw 2 bowl games. I will never take it for granted. WOuld love to see the Arizona bowl and then catch the Aggie b-ball play UNLV on the drive home.taniataylor wrote: ↑November 30th, 2019, 6:27 pmVery very proud of those guys!
