AH SHT! I thought we had a chance... now I'm not so sure. Interim Coach will throw in some Boise type wrinkles, we're screwed!

Sounds like he's finishing out the year. Just a lame duck now.ViAggie wrote:AH SHT! I thought we had a chance... now I'm not so sure. Interim Coach will throw in some Boise type wrinkles, we're screwed!

Not surprising. Hopefully they hire another Mike Locksley and not another Rocky Long. I hope they stay down. We have enough competition to win our division with Boise State, Air Force and the potential of Wyoming and Colorado State. We deserve a gimme game.

Question do his players play out of their mind and pull out the victory as a going away present? Or since it's the last game are they just not going to be prepared since he's gone after the season anyways?

Was Bob Davie well liked by his players?Aggie84025 wrote:Question do his players play out of their mind and pull out the victory as a going away present? Or since it's the last game are they just not going to be prepared since he's gone after the season anyways?

Re: New Mexico fires coach.
Seems to be some genuine local fondness for coach Davie and there is a thread about his health problems, what ever those may be. Rocky Long left New Mexico because of lack of support, financial, institutional and a declining fan base. Likely there is more to this story than wins.

They are playing Utah State so that should answer your question.Aggie84025 wrote: ↑November 25th, 2019, 7:51 pmQuestion do his players play out of their mind and pull out the victory as a going away present?
