The cheapest tickets here in Chicago for the next bears game is still $100 and the Bears are pretty awful.

The last time I went to a game was up in Seattle. I was 4 rows from the top of the stadium but closer to mid field the ticket was just over 100 face value. I got some food and a coke that was nearly $30. We had a parking pass but parking was pretty steep as well. That was more than 5 years ago.

I remember thinking at the time how could any normal person afford to regularly go to these games. For the price of one game you could nearly buy NFL Sunday ticket. You do miss the game day atmosphere but I think more and more people just don't care about being at the game.

This post is likely straight up poor sarcasm and cannot be taken seriously.

And the key there is face value. Seahawks home game tickets are sold out so the price goes up to $200 for nosebleed seats, and get higher to be somewhere the players aren't tiny. For that reason, I opted to travel to Jacksonville to see the Seahawks play there and was able to get a ticket with a decent view of the game in the endzone for just over 100, which was face value cause you can get tickets to Jaguars games at face value cause they don't sell out.

A no win bengals team and a redskins team that the entire city literally hates the owner....
