How will Utah State be affected by this season's coaching carousel?
With Florida State and Arkansas firing their head coaches before the end of the season, the 2019 coaching carousel has begun. When all is said and done, how do you think Utah State will be affected?

The only way Gary leaves is by filing his retirement papers or getting a pink slip.

The only change I could possibly see is Sanford getting fired. Not likely, but just within the realm of consideration.

Gary’s not leaving, he was told by his wife that if he takes another job he’s going by himself. I don’t think anyone else on the coaching staff has done a good enough job to be hired away or badly enough to be fired.
Some continuity with the coaching staff and a whole lot of returning players may be just what this team needs next year

Will respond whenever you ask what the band is doing

Plus our schedule is a little more favorable I think.

I’ve heard that it’s likely that both parties involved could just part ways at the end of the season.bigandblue wrote: ↑November 16th, 2019, 8:16 pmThe only change I could possibly see is Sanford getting fired. Not likely, but just within the realm of consideration.

I'm not dumb but I think firing Sanford would be a mistake. I think we should allow him to do his own thing instead of trying to recreate the 2018 offense before showing him the door. Sanford was considered one of the brightest up and coming offensive minds in college football, he didn't get stupid overnight. Let's see what he can do.bigandblue wrote: ↑November 16th, 2019, 8:16 pmThe only change I could possibly see is Sanford getting fired. Not likely, but just within the realm of consideration.
Personally, IF it was Ena that made the decision to make the move to the 4-3 and completely neutralize Tipa Galeai by moving him to DE, I think he would deserve to be shown the door before I would consider $hitcanning Sanford.
