Is it the Weather?

Post by tinplater » November 10th, 2019, 6:49 am

So nice to see a football game in daylight! Dropped balls not an issue, made me think that USU may not be a very skilled team on O when it is cold, wet, and dark.

We have an offense that only functions when the weather is in the 60s or above.

Well, hopefully New Mexico last November is warm enough. Then get the Arizona Bowl.

I’m not tryin to be a smart (I can't express myself without swearing) but was the LSU game too hot or were we just too overmatched? That is the biggest outlier of his best games are only in good weather. He also just looks more uncomfortable the whole time in cold games and especially cold late games.

Right now LSU looks like they are honestly one of the top 2 teams in the country. They've earned the #1 ranking that they got in the AP today. We were simply overmatched in that game. That was the best P5 team that we've played by far in a very long time.

HUGE difference between struggling with LSU and struggling with byu. Although a byu fan would probably try and tell you differently.

Liberty appears to have given BYU a game Saturday, something we could not.

Take away the turnovers and it is a close game.

Our offense drove the ball really well up until the redzone where we either fumbled it or Love threw an interception.
