SDSU - not impressed

What's up with SDSU? Sure their only loss is to us (ha!) but they barely hand on to win games they should (in theory) be winning by a lot! 3 point victory over UNLV? REALLY? Hell I think even we would do better than that! They have yet to play anyone decent, just wait until Hawaii roles them. I thought that was a good win for us last month, but now? Meh, not impressed.

Also FresNO state? Losing to CSU? Not looking too good (I expect we'll beat them too, but who knows?).

SDSU is currently in the AP Top 25, which gives us more top 25 wins than Utah.

All SDSU does is win. Are they pretty on the offensive side of the ball, no, but you cannot deny that they are consistently good. I would for sure take their 7-1 record this year. Just goes to show you how big that victory was for us. Our offense that game was not great, but was sufficient to get the job done. They drove the ball 4 times to get scores inside the red zone against a good defense. Gives me some hope that we can turn things (hopefully).

Agreed.

But to all of my critics, I get your point, they find a way to win 99% of the time, even if it is ugly (see last week's UNLV game).

And San Diego State has a very good shot at 11-1. Nevada and Fresno at home should be wins. Hawaii and byu are a little tougher, but both teams have shown to be inferior to SDSU this year and the byu game is at home.

I'm impressed. Their defense is Rock solid and that's how you win games....and championships. You win close ones with good defense and that's what they have done...except for us. They are ranked and could go 11-1 like others have said.

Good teams find ways to win games. If we were 7-1 and won all 7 of those by 1 point, I'd give 0 craps. What matters is the W.

I hope the losses @ AFA, @WF, & @ LSU reminded us, it's better to win ugly than lose at all.

Yes,,,,,,,Win ugly, but winning ugly is OK !!!!!!!!!! At the end of the season it's how many games did you win, not how many points did you score to rack up the win.
