Reasons USU Wins Saturday (none of them reality-based)
1. I was scheduled to go to the game, but plans got cancelled, so I can no longer make it. This is the main reason.
2. USU is "due" for a big-time win.
3. Jordan Love is "due" for a big-time game.
4. Any others?
Now back to reality. My prediction is USU loses by 20+. If this year's LSU were the type of team to overlook lesser programs, then I think USU would have a chance. But everything I've seen and heard about these cats makes me think they will be as dialed in for us as for any other team. Hope I'm wrong. Will be fun to watch them the rest of the year.

Lets keep this going!
Reason #5 - the whole team got drunk Friday night and with an early game time had no way of sleeping off the hangover.

No. That's the recipe on how to lose a Potato Bowl against Cincinnati.

Re: Reasons USU Wins Saturday (none of them reality-based)
Friday night some clever USU students hack into the National Weather Service station and issue a hurricane alert to all the LSU players phones instructing them to report to a weather bunker. USU shows up and wins the game by default as no LSU players show up.

Reason #7: Enough of LSU's star players get DQ'd due to improper booster payments or any other number of NCAA violations that have been committed.
What am I saying. Sometimes I say crazy things. After all, we're talking about big time SEC football here. I'm sure everything is done by the book.

Speaking of Ed Orgeron
#9 Mother finally allows Robert Boucher, Jr. (aka Bobby the water boy) to go out and play the foosball, but Bobby is so dumb, he suits up for the wrong team (USU) and we win because of Bobby's stellar sacks!

That is actually how we beat Alabama in 2005! Their win over us was forfeited cause of booster violations. Well, actually just vacated.WannabeAgAlum wrote: ↑October 3rd, 2019, 4:35 pmReason #7: Enough of LSU's star players get DQ'd due to improper booster payments or any other number of NCAA violations that have been committed.

My hockey team did that back in juniors. Went to bed at 6 for a game at noon. Except we beat the top team in the league.

#10 Viaggie sneaks in as a member of their catering staff and spikes their breakfast buffet with exlax. USU wins by a score of 70 - 3

Re: Reasons USU Wins Saturday (none of them reality-based)
Didn't Michigan use a similar excuse after their epic upset against Appalachian State? As I recall, a couple Michigan players admitted that about half of their starters partied the night before and then smoked a bunch of weed before the game. They wanted to see if they could win by 50 even if they were stoned. Clearly that didn't work out so well.

#11. LSU can’t find game tape for this year or last, so they game plan for a 3-9 team. By the time they realize we don’t suck, they’ve already dug themselves in too big of a hole.
#12. LSU decides to pull a Popovich and rest it’s starters in preparation for a big game against Florida next week.

Reason #14 - Vicki Vallencourt puts a hex on Joe Burrow, making him throw INT's and allowing USU to score 8 pick sixes

Re: Reasons USU Wins Saturday (none of them reality-based)
Reason #15: UCF, ranked #18, loses, which begins a string of ranked teams losing this weekend so our upset win gets us as highly ranked as possible.
Wait, that one actually happened. Maybe this is the wrong thread for that.

LSU, so used to wearing white at home, accidentally puts on the white USU jerseys and plays the entire game as the Aggies.
