ticket sales update
So I just got 5 more season tickets today. I was able to get all the tickets together in the south end zone row 10 for every game but the BYU game. Those had to go back to row 20. Not to go all oleblu on everyone, but I would like to encourage you awesome people on this board to try and sell the program to more of your friends, relatives and enemies. It is kind of amazing to me that the Boise game isn't even close to sold out.
I will have to start telling more people about the family deal. $370 makes season tickets $74 each for two adult and 3 youth season tickets! I went bowling for labor day and the cost for 6 of us to bowl two games for 2 hours was $72. a night at the movies for the family is about $75.

And I want to say that I appreciate oleblu's message to help grow the program and I was just trying to make a little joke

Re: ticket sales update
Is the recent graduate deal still happening?? I've told two couples about it, but I'm worried that it isn't happening anymore based on some other posts I read a while ago.

YES they are doing that still! You have to call the ticket office at 1-888-USTATE1 to get it though. Not available on the website

Re: ticket sales update
The Junior Aggie Kids Club game this year is Wyoming. That's a 7pm start time in mid-November. Not entirely sure if I'm going to get the kids to come to that one, so I picked up 3 youth tickets to the Stony Brook game to at least make sure they get to the Mav this season. We'll see if I can bring them for some other games, too.

Re: ticket sales update
Ticket office tweeted that there were only 5000 tickets left for Saturday and the ticket office was busy. Looks like we’ll have north of 20K. Hopefully we can fill the place.

Tickets on stub hub are going as low as $6 or $7. I’m still trying to convince myself to go to this one. These games are never that exciting due to the blowouts.

Just go to the game and support the team? Have fun at the event? Tailgate?

Just go, especially for 6 or 7 dollars. That is the cost of a freaking high school game people. Winning is exciting. We will win.

[Just get to the game, we need every person we have. It truly excites the team to come out to a full stadium. This team will be fun to watch, the weather is great and we play a team that we should dominate.]

Re: ticket sales update
I don't see how people don't get excited watching our offense drop 50+ points on someone. I don't go to these games to watch other teams score, I go to watch the Aggies score (and prevent the other team from ever getting close to the endzone).

Go and enjoy the AGGIES, the game, just being there. You can drop more at Wendy's and be a lot less satisfied. Should be a fantastic afternoon to watch our team at home. We're driving up from SLC to take in the flavor of the game.

Georgia State is FBS (though in the Sun Belt). Stony Brook isn’t.
Upsets happen but those two games are not the best points of reference.

Re: ticket sales update
With fees I see ticket prices have gone up considerably. Just checked Stubhub and they have three decent seats for $15. The section 204 seats are a great deal at $40.

Re: ticket sales update
You are looking at this the wrong way. If you look at it as "I get to go see a future 1st round pick and other NFL talent "
6 or 7 bucks seems like a bargain

Re: ticket sales update
Any news on season ticket sales for 2019?
Can't find anything published, but maybe somebody's heard.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Re: ticket sales update
Congrats on coming up with a new excuse (maybe two) to not attend and Aggie football game.
*We'll win by too much
*Tickets are too cheap
It would be too depressing, but interesting to have a post where people post their best excuses to not attend an Aggie game.
On Saturday, it will probably be too hot at the start of the game and too cold by the end.

I will say that you better cold weather prep the kids well for the Boise game and most likely the BYU game.

I'll throw my excuse into the ring:
I would totally be there if I were closer than 2,000 miles away.

Haven't you ever heard of an airplane? It's not THAT hard to get to Logan from DC.

Those of us who have taken Geo's challenge seriously to admire our sexy looks in the mirror (despite having large guts and moobs), and are truly devoted fans who refuse to accept mediocrity, will travel the 1.5 miles to attend all six home football games this year. We will also happily insert a zip lock bag full of Skittles up our butt cracks because of the new bag check policy. They might have a funny taste to them, but that's ok. We will enjoy the games.

Re: ticket sales update
My motorcycle just clicked over to 1,200 miles to attend this game and I’m about 100 miles away.
Maybe I should just head back since this game will be such a disappointment to some.

Re: ticket sales update
I believe Hartwell mentioned that we had sold 600 more season tickets than last year as of the fall scrimmage game so I’m sure that number has increased. He was pleading with people to get as many people as possible to buy. Aggie football season tickets are an absolute steal. Less than $10 a month - less than a trip to Wendy’s for lunch.

Re: ticket sales update
And next season you can stay at my home in Logan for the game if you can arrange your schedule to meet your needs. Excellent excuse treesap32, and yes, that excuse really works. Now, if someone in town or across the valley can't find his way into the stadium on game day, he will soon find folks from outside the valley are getting the best seats, accommodations and parking arrangements.

I'm making a neck brace that will fit two Logan Hero Sandwitches, but the skittles idea is very good as well.ususports wrote: ↑September 6th, 2019, 10:55 amThose of us who have taken Geo's challenge seriously to admire our sexy looks in the mirror (despite having large guts and moobs), and are truly devoted fans who refuse to accept mediocrity, will travel the 1.5 miles to attend all six home football games this year.
