Sagarin Predictor has Wake a 0.56 point favorite at home, so this is essentially a "pick-em" game.
VegasInsider.com opened at Wake -3.0 and is presently Wake -3.5, with 82% of the money coming in at USU to cover, making this, essentially, a "pick-em" game. Assuming Vegas assumes a 2.25 pt homefield advantage (a fairish assumption), Wake has gone from a .75 pt favorite on a neutral field to a 1.25 point favorite, and the betting public appears to know this.
So, with so many unknowns on both sides of scrimmage, I'm picking USU both to cover and to win: by a 7 point swing, because ... Love is all we need. And I'm obviously taking the "under," which started at 62.5 and popped up to 63.0. I'm thinking this is that unexpected defensive game with a couple of turnovers on one side and a single turnover on the other side, with a special teams turnaround.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

A win at Wake would be HUGE for our program and jump start our season... Actually a win would really set the tone for our AGGIES and even grab some real headlines...

My prediction: Four TDs and two field goals by the offense (34) and one TD by the defense (7). So 41 total. I think our defense is up to the task of mostly shutting these guys down - three TDs and a field goal. So 41 to 24 for USU.
Aggie Blue goggles firmly in place.
