Wow. That sucks. Hopefully Ingram will pull his head out

I have a question about the two deep depth chart on there. If Mo Uasike isn't even in the two deep in the offensive line, why don't we put him back on the defensive line where he has played with some success the past few years?

I’ve wondered the same thing. Been a really interesting last year for him, not sure what is up.

I’ve been following the Ingram situation closely. Where he going? I heard Tania says the rumors to tech are untrue. That one hurts big time. I still follow MW on twitter and he keeps tweeting wreck’em (like Aggie up).. I hope he doesn’t end up there.

I trust Tania knows the situation better than we know. Lets not forget that there a lot of other schools.

Seriously. Uasike has been one of the most odd situations I have seen in recent years. He was highly sought after out of HS, Boise St., Utah, Houston, and Tulsa all offered him late and a few other P5 started showing interest too. He said he chose USU largely because we had been on him early, believed in him from the start, and always kept in touch.

He seemed to have a nice impact as a freshman and sophomore and I thought redshirting him last year was a way to pave the way for him to be the anchor NT of the future or at the very least a regular part of the DL rotation. With the new redshirt rules, I thought we would see him used in the opposite way of the younger guys that may only get into games that are blow outs. I expected to see Mo used in the 4 most important games and I thought we were on that path when he appeared for the first time in the BYU game. Mysteriously, that was the only time we saw him all year long. Apparently there was no use for him in a "closer than it should be" Wyoming game where a QB switch by the Pokes resulted in repeated called QB runs up the middle when they could do nothing else? No use for him in a Boise St. game when we couldn't seem to stop Mattison from having a career day? No reason for him to be a part of a bowl game when he had three unused appearances left?

As I watched him sit on a bench (in full uniform) far from the sidelines and away from most teammates during the New Mexico Bowl, I started wondering what the hell was up. Was he injured? No one could be in that deep of a dog house after being a solid contributor for multiple years.

With the arrival of GA and his staff I fully expected to see Uasike and Unga rotate at NT. Instead he is swapped to OL? There are more questions than answers at this point.

Why are Siaosi Mariner and Kanen Eaten both #80?

They will likely be different numbers once the season begins but even if they both kept #80, Eaton will end up redshirting.

Do summer additions/transfers/JC guys not get to participate in Fall camp? Just curious why none of them are on the 2 deep?

This is basically the way they ended spring ball. I'll have a depth chart to release tomorrow night that will look much different.

Tania can you clarify what this means. Should we be expecting more transfers in the coming days?

I think she means that the "wreck'em" tweets from Matt Wells are not in regards to Ja'marcus.

Ahhh...my bad for some reason my eyes saw that as it's not "just" JaMarcus

Interesting name on the list of newcomers. Matt Sterzer from taylorsville. Must be a relative to josh sterzer who I think will arrive this winter.

Matt is Josh's brother. He got a good look from the Aggies before his mission and has worked his tail off to get where he is now.

Josh will be home in just over a week and enroll in January.
