EA NCAA 14 Aggie Season Projections
NCAA 14 was the last college football game that was put out by EA for the PS3/Xbox 360. Some individuals have tried keeping the rosters up-to-date for every season since then. I have a copy of the game for PS3 and decided to upload the current rosters that they have (final rosters won't be done until after week 1). I adjusted the schedule to match as best I could our schedule for this season (there is a way to adjust this as well but it is more in-depth, I'm hoping to figure it out before the start of the season).
So, I ran the season 10 times. It takes a while to run a full season or I would have run it more times. This is what it came up with:
2 seasons of 8-4, neither led to a conference championship game. Boise went all 10 season against either San Diego St or Fresno.
4 seasons of 7-5.
1 season of 6-6 .
2 seasons of 5-7.
1 season of 4-8.
Once I figure out how to change the schedule to accurately match the dates and locations of our current schedule, and once they come out with more finalized rosters, I'll run it again and see how it comes out. I'm not quite as pessimistic on this season as the game is.
A lot goes into these rosters and where the players are ranked (Jordan Love is in the 70s out of 99). They are not perfect, but it is a taste. If you would like more information on how they come up with them see the following article and site:

The file I downloaded was at this site, first post, PS3 Offline File:
https://forums.operationsports.com/foru ... pdate.html
I then followed instructions on another post about how to get them into the game. They were:
Here are the steps for getting the rosters onto your console (it's really not that hard):
a. On your flash drive, create a folder for your PS3 to facilitate the transfer from your computer to the flash drive.
b. Download the SAVEDATA.zip file to your computer. After downloading it, extract the file to your desktop using WINRAR.
c. Now insert your USB storage device into your computer's slot.
d. Open the USB storage device. It should display a window on your computer.
e. You create a new folder on your USB storage device and name the folder PS3. It's important to name it PS3 so that your PS3 system will recognize the roster folder
f. Find the SAVEDATA file extracted from SAVEDATA.zip.
g. To save the file on the USB storage device, you can drag the SAVEDATA folder or copy and paste SAVEDATA folder into the PS3 folder located in the USB storage device.
h. To load it to your PS3 system, without putting the game in the system, start PS3. Sign in only with the username you dedicated to the roster file.
i. Plug in the USB device into the USB slot of the PS3.
j. Go to PS3 menu to get to the "Game" section.
k. Scroll down to "Saved Data Utility, then click "x".
l. Pick "USB Device", then press "x".
m. Click "triangle" then "copy".
n. The file will be copied to the hard drive of the PS3 system.
This is for PS3, XBOX 360 has different directions.

Re: EA NCAA 14 Aggie Season Projections
Why make it that complicated? You can just go to the game, rosters, download roster and type in the username. Done.
Re: EA NCAA 14 Aggie Season Projections
The rosters on Xbox360 (gamer tag: dericksun) aren’t 100% accurate. Missing a few guys (Jalen Green, Tipa Galeai)
Has anyone already downloaded his but finished out the USU roster?

I'm hoping they will have updates after week 1 with a current roster. We'll have to see.

Anyone find a roster with an updated UState team?

This is what Ebay is for fellas. I've been through 3 or 4 over the years. All spent playing NCAA football.
