Isn't "High Football IQ" short for "short and slow?"

Re: 2018 USU FOOTBALL PRESEASON PREVIEW: SAFETY
Despite Ferguson's numbers, I have some concerns about his ability in coverage. I think the guy has a motor and likes to hit hard, but often overplays, missing his man, and is easily jewked. I think his tackles on the season are high because opposing teams were always throwing in his direction, knowing that it was an easy reception, even if their receiver doesn't necessarily get a lot of yards after catch. Of course, I don't know football all that well and could be reading this all wrong. Kind of wondering if he would be a better fit at the hybrid position, but maybe he's undersized?
Also, about your breakdown of the safety positions. Wouldn't Rocquemore and Gajkowski be somewhere in the depth chart for the Boundary or Field Safety? I mean, my understanding is that the 3-3-5 scheme won't always be on the field. But I would think we'd still want our best men on the field when we're in a 3-4-4, and that it would include either or both of Jontrell and Baron.

Obviously, this isn't set in stone but based on what I observed during spring ball (I only missed the 6am practices) when the scheme changes the players who you are asking about are subbed out.BigBlueDart wrote: ↑July 16th, 2018, 2:51 pmDespite Ferguson's numbers, I have some concerns about his ability in coverage.
