Not great, but not out of the question.

Not impossible, but I think it's more likely this is last game we win. I didn't really see anything tonight to give me much confidence.

Yeah, still a possibility. But it will be really tough.

Given our uninspired win. I say we lose to SDSU, WY and BYU. That gets us to 7 losses. I say no bowl. And, we could lose out

If by some miracle we beat SDSU, I say we get to one.

I don't know why everyone thinks there is no chance of beating SDSU. They barely beat Fresno and lost to South Alabama (who is 0-4 in the Sun Belt). I'm not saying we will win, but you're silly if you think we don't have a good shot.

I'm actually really smart, probably smarter than you are so if you disagree with what I have stated in this post, you are likely wrong (and dumb).

I agree. The most important game of the season for bowl possibilities was Colorado State, then Air Force and now SDSU. If they had won two of those games, a bowl would almost have been a lock. But they have to win one of them to have any realistic hope. At this point, the SDSU game, while mathematically not being a must-win, is still a game where USU has to come out on top. I don't think it will happen, though.

Beating SDSU will build a ton of confidence that should get us rolling.

Better than ya think. Adjustments in second half of this game were very encouraging.

I think if Mays returns for sdsu we can get to a bowl game.

I think we have a better shot at beating SDSU than Wyoming.

I like our chances vs New Mexico and Nevada. If we could split between Wyoming and sdsu then we will have a good chance.

They have enough talent on the O side with skill players bur are burdened with a DIII QB and coach, and an O-line that would struggle against the Logan high freshman team. In contrast they have solid if average to below average players on D who are well coached. However if they continue to play like they did last night and the last 2.5 quarters of CSU they will not win another game. I know a wins a win and all that BS but it was a pathetic football performance against a team that had mailed it in a month ago.

The outside shot would be if Leavitt and Mays come back healthy and with a vengeance and Mays is used correctly. That and a whole lot of luck. The MW is full of below average teams with plenty of warts so anything is possible I guess. Just very unlikely.

SDSU will probably be a 5 to 7 point favorite, it's not out of the realm of possibility

I just don't see the 3 wins. I really don't think we can beat all three of NM, Nevada, and that Wyoming team that is playing great.

IMO - our defense isn't dominant enough to make up for our below average offense. We struggle to get pressure, and create TO's. Our D is solid but not great/elite like we had at times in the past. Don't see us bowling this year. Hope I'm wrong.

If the game were played today, at Wyoming, the Vegas line would essentially be a pickem...maybe Wyoming a one point fave over the Aggies

Nevada is playing like poop, New Mexico isn't as tough as last year and we get them in Logan, and Wyoming is still a relatively favorable matchup for us. I think we can win all 3 if we get Mays and Leavitt back for November.
