Edwards chooses Iowa St. Funny how ppl will pick a sucky P5 over USU. I guess it's none of our business where he goes, and maybe this isn't a huge loss. I'm just figuring the reasoning behind Iowa st? Lame. Any thoughts? Oh well. Good luck dude!

Re: Evrett Edwards
Last time they put a DB in the NFL was 2005. They also only average about one NFL draft pick per year. He would've been much better off learning from Shaver and joining the ranks of Willie D, Nevin, Mo Alexander, Curtis Marsh, et. al.

Re: Evrett Edwards
Sometimes in life, it's not about where you work, but who you work with.
It's highly possible that he clicked with the staff/players at Iowa St more than Utah St. Perhaps it was playing time, or maybe it was close to extended family. There are of dozens of likely possibilities, not every decision is based solely on a school's NFL pedigree. If there is one thing that USU has proven, it's that NFL teams will find NFL-level talent no matter where you play.
