Aggies in the NFL
Re: Aggies in the NFL
Upon further inspection, I think that you're correct. I don't know how I missed the Packers cutting him, looks like he's probably done.Empire of Dirt wrote:Is Jared bush making another run? I was thinking he was done.

Re: Aggies in the NFL
Not really. Teams keep it close to the vest and the media doesn't care to report about injuries to non-starters let alone ask follow up questions.
Sharp is said to have an injured hamstring- but I found nowhere that listed how severe it was. (If he has been fairly clear of hamstring injuries in the past- it might not be too severe)
Z. Vigil is listed on the active/non-football list and has apparently been sitting out all of camp. I cannot find anything else.

Z. Vigil was experiencing some "back tightness" prior to camp from off-season workouts so he started camp on the PUP.noods wrote:Any idea the extent of these two injuries?Imakeitrain wrote:Nick Vigil leads Bengals in tackles.

Zach has a bulging disk in his back that will likely hamper him for the remainder of his career.brownjeans wrote:Z. I had a bulging/ruptured disc. I had a microdiscectomy and feel good as new. But I know I was lucky. It doesn't always work out that way.aggies22 wrote:Zach has a bulging disk in his back that will likely hamper him for the remainder of his career.brownjeans wrote:Z. They are fine if you don't get water in your mouth, which I don't as I dog paddle and water walk for that reason.

If it didn't really help my legs, back etc.I wouldn't be there. If the water is warmer than normal I make it a point to tell swimmers that the water is warm because the kids just left.

Mo Alexander has made a couple appearances on HBO's "Hard Knocks." They haven't focused on him as a storyline, but he's been in a few shots and conversations here and there.

Marwin will make a final roster. If the packers are dumb enough to let him go, he wont even make it through waivers. Book it.paaron46 wrote:Good for Evans. Really starting to think he makes the squad. He's seeing a lot of work and impressing.

Nick Vigil
Anyone know if anything's happened to Nick? He was ripping it up leading the team with tackles in pre-season but I haven't heard anything since regular season started. During the pre-season he was playing early in some games with starters so I wouldn't think his previous numbers would be due to only playing third and fourth strings...

Re: Aggies in the NFL
He's mostly been special teams but I've heard with Cincy's slow start that he may be a player that they look at to bring in a change with some youth and excitement with Maulauga playing poorly. It seems from the blogs I've read that Cincy fans are tired with the lack of performance of the LB corps and want to give Vigil a chance based on what they've seen so far. Ray Maulauga is likely out with an injury for Monday nights game so look for little Vigil to get some meaningful defensive snaps and if he performs well I'd expect to see that time continue and perhaps increase throughout the season.
