Anyone know what happend to Jeff Manning? I don't see him on the roster anymore!

Probably saw the writing on the wall.

Also of note on the spring football roster is that Keegan Andersen is still listed.

I don't think this is the best thing to go by 100% but it is interesting to look at with no seniors and guys that left (Manning) updated

What is the story on Keegan? Graduated and moving on with life? Unhappy? Wants to go to play for dad? Something else?

He graduates in May. From what I have heard he wants to move on but there is a chance he will play here for SR yr.

Gunderson graduated. All listed were walkons except for Manning (probably never play), Parrish (playing basketball), Malanga (at Snow), and add Hollis (?) to your list. Also walkons Paul Clark, Hamala, Marsaw, and Chronister.

Anybody know which 6 walkons were awarded scholarships?

yeah, Keylon Hollis was dismissed from the team prior to the Bowl game.

I am about 90% sure Brock Warren hasn't received a scholarship yet.

I'm only counting 7 guys over 300lbs. That makes me feel unhappy. All those 290-ish guys need to get over the top!

Brock Warren is my biggest ?

I be really surprised if many of the above received scholarships this Winter Semester.

There's something to consider here. For a walkon to get a scholarship and not count against the 25 annuals, he has to be with the program 2 seasons or something like that. We know that we had 27 LOI's with 7 going on missions first, then add 2 greyshirts from last year and now the new CB Hayes and we're up to about 23 with maybe another 2 saved (one for Floyd?).

So I'd be surprised if any 1 year walkons like Kennedy Williams, Weese, Bird, Huerta, Jeppesen, Ioane, Painter, etc. were given one of the 25, so they must be here for 2 years. Those that would apply to my knowledge: Centers, DeLoach, Hutchinson, Gallegos, Green, Oknowko, maybe Boldomero and Warren. So who can get the straight scoop?

NOTE: This is the most interesting difference between FBall and BBall in scholarship numbers. Since BBall has no annual recruiting limit, a coach could replace all 13 scholarships whenever, thereby effectively eliminating any "preferred walkon" value. BUT, in FBall, a walkon that has been with the program 2 seasons and is quote promised "preferred walkon" status can reasonably expect to get a scholarship without counting against the 25, provided there is room within the 85 (attrition caused).

That really pisses me off, when athletes get counseled out of the program . (tic-of course)

I do not follow who gets scholarships and that kind of thing. I could care less to be upfront. I made a list of guys that I thought were walkons.

Where is Jeremy Morris? I don't see him on the official roster.

These aren't always accurate. For example I can't imagine Jeremy Morris off the team. He has a really good shot at starting this fall.

The walkon list is impressive. The Tolbert kid looks really good for a walkon.

Speaking of which wasn't there a 6'5" linebacker out of Cali that is supposed to be a preferred walkon this year?

Holy crap! We have 32 players - maybe more that have left the program? Wells has got to make major changes. Maybe our LB and DL coaches should be fired.

Zach Fisher updates the roster when Coach Wells tells him to. I hope it is just an error and accidentally put Zach Van Leeuwen in his spot.

That would surpirse me. He's never been anounced as having signed an LOI. When did he sign?

I was told early last season that he was on scholarship. I assumed it was athletic.
