A note on golf at WSU- bring your wallet!

Green fees on FB weekends -$150.00 per. I have canceled my foursome. I don't know of others who might contemplate playing but beware.

Did you cancel because green fees are $150?

I like the way Bob thinks. I bet his foursome goes out and does a community service project, then donates the $150 per to the Big Blue Fund. Very nice. Saves himself from suffering through golf, and wins double brownie points to be used at his discretion post-mortem.

The foursome will spend the morning touring the Palouse and helping little old ladies cross the street. I've paid more for golf but not a mile from my home. I think Pebble Brach was about $400.00 and two expensive nights in the lodge, as i recall..

I played with Bob at Wolf Creek in Mesquite, and that was well over $150 per during the peak winter season. He’ll throw for golf when the course is worth it. Like he said, not going to pay that for the course on campus.
