Thumbs up/down, upvote/downvote, like/dislike, etc.

Has there been any talk about adding a thumbs up/down, up/downvote, like/dislike, agree/disagree, etc to comments/posts?

I feel like being able to directly like/dislike a comment or post would be great for getting the feel of how a post was received. It would be cool to view some of the most liked/disliked posts of the week, day, or month.

Most of the facebook reaction things would be cool, mostly I think Happy, sad, angry, and funny would be great.

It's not a functionally that is natively supported by phpbb. If there is an extension that allows it then if be willing to look into it. I haven't seen anything though.

The old Scout.com board had something like a "like" and "dislike" button. But then all the glory hogs started posting crazy stuff just to get their likes up. Then it just got way too commercial.

Right now no...but if you like a post then it changes to Thumbs Down so you can unlike it...not that it does anything but it might make you feel better.
